Ken Howard or people like him have been looking to run fraudulent credit cards through us for the past few months.  We take as many as they will give us, we let them believe they have insufficient funds and will not work.  We then call the credit card company alert them and the credit card holder does not get screwed.  Below is the Fake organization that we were suppose to ship our goods to along with their shipping company( partners).

The company I work for just got hit with this scam.  Good thing I searched the web and found all this information before they got our money.

Same email as J.  Asked for 2 transactions be charged and money wired to the freight company.

Received an email from Mr. Roy aka Jones McFadden with the same info as above.  He was going to scam me out of about $5000.  I have my own small business and cannot afford to lose this amount.  Thank all of you for posting this information.

Actually this was the second time i was contacted online by a reverend. One Reverend James John, with another orphanage group, to ship to Guyana which I was waiting on the newest product info before proceeding (not any more) and this Reverend John Burns world orphanage center costa haiti and Antrack cargo freight,etc. For the heck of it I decided to investigate online which led here. I am sure glad it did. The first guy wanted 20 undersink RO systems and the second guy wanted 5 complete whole house water treatment systems. When I alerted my facebook friends my ex-wife, who also had a water treatment company in the past, chimed in that they almost got her last year. We cannot be too careful these days i guess.

Mike, I got the EXACT same message and exact same info. Luckily my manufacturing company caught on to this scam before anything happened. This one would have cost over $9000.00. They are persistant though, "Roy" is still emailing me trying to get this deal to go through. I am a small garden supply company, a loss like this would kill my business. But just wanted to post here, so others don't get scammed, they are still using that somotex@live.com shipping company. Also they are asking for shipment to go to a "Paula Hicks" at a address in New Zealand.  Be careful folks!

This so called REVEREND KEN HOWARD just contacted us by e-mail wanting to purchase 15000.00 in items and wanted us to contact a shipping company that was misspelled. They are at it again! scammers!

I quoted him an outrageous amount, yet he accepted it.  He then called me with a credit card number with a San Francisco address.  Could not find a Donald at that address.   I did not run the card because I suspect it's a stolen number.  I sent him an email saying that the transaction had failed, and he has not responded.   I hate these people.

The credit cards are stolen...... they have you run the credit cards and after they go through and you think you have your money, they ask you to western union the money to the freight forwarder. Then the credit card company calls back later on and says it was stolen and you have to refund the money.

Rang him back and got lied too.

I run a small roping company, we make lariat ropes for rodeo and ranch use. It's a fledgling business, just a lot of hard work trying to make ends meet in hard times. This guy emailed me monday wanting to know prices, types, sizes, etc. of products we sell. Initially, his grammar and spelling clued me in this might not be legit, but you never know. I put together the info. for him, and within 24 hours, he ordered 100 ropes of each size (an order of over $6,800.00). I told him it would take at least two weeks for me to make all these ropes, but I was overjoyed. My wife and I truly thought this was a blessing from above. I received another email saying he wanted me to email this "somotexz@live.com" shipping company with shipping info. and weights/sizes for a quote, and then he would provide a major credit card for payment. The quote for the shipping to Christchurch, New Zealand, was over half the total cost of the product (clue #2). Anyway, he accepted the subtotal of $9,860.75, and called me with a credit card. I am a disabled veteran with a laundry list of foreign service, much of which was in the middle-east and North Africa. His voice was obviously African, his english was poor, and yet it was obvious he wasn't Rahul Agarwal (the name of the cardholder). I contacted some old friends, and found out "Paula Hicks," the ship to recipient, as well as "Dennis Chapman," the contact at the "somotexz" shipping company, both are immigrants from Africa with localized names. They are actually from Senegal and Uganda, respectively. "Mr. Roy Maloney," as my potential customer called himself, is actually from Ghana, and was in Ghana, using a "magic jack" at an internet cafe. Busted!!! He didnt have much of a response when he found out what I knew and was told the only rope he will receive from me is the one I'll hang him with if we should ever cross paths. Whatch yourselves carefully, I hate seeing good people being scammed out of their hard-earned money. God Bless you all.

They use the email subject as - Urgent Response.

There was an attempt from these clowns to SCAM my business, they used a fake credit card, and ordered an excessive quantity that he planned on donating to a orphanage in Haiti ... The order seemed to good to be true... It was approx 13000 order, including sales taxes...
I played along so I could report the Master Card... It was a stolen City Bank Credit Card, These terds are from Ghana... I was on a phone conversation and received the credit card, and while speaking to the guy, I told him I was so overwhelmed by his generosity that  I wanted to donate money to his ministry... He sad I could send him money via Western Union....

The credit card that is being used belong to someone else. After researching names, credit card and phone numbers I saved myself 17,735.00 worth of trouble and debt. They are also using a shipping company called Atlas Shipping LTD

Same scam. Stolen credit card. They pre-pay for the entire oder with shipping on stolen credit card and then want you to send them the freight cost back as they over paid or paid twice. They are still waitng for their cheque from us. The stolen credit card that was used was from someone in a Seniors Home. No one knew it had been compromised. The merchandise that they have requested is a bonus for them if we are stupid enough to ship it to an empty lot and to be reloaded on another truck for an address over seas.
