we have told these morons not to ever call us again over 50 times! no joke.  i asked to speak with there manager or supervisor and was refused. i threatened to call the states attorney if they called again........ they called four more times that day. i hope someone will do something

I got to the point where I do not answer the call anymore. I am registered with the "National Do Not Call Registery" and the TURDS still call! I have reported them and that doesn't even stop them.  Next step.  Buy carrier pigons and get rid of the phone.

They called 9 times in 2 weeks. told them I'm not interested ,but they continue. Hang ups don't work  either. last resort threathen them with FCC do not call list violation.

Called today twice, checked here to see who they were. Got the old police whistle out my mom gave me 20 years ago for prank callers. Ya think they will call back? Good thing I have great lungs. Do not call lists are a joke. Telephone company says they cannot help. Maybe these calls will fall on deaf ears, oh I will go get an air horn for the next one. I pay my bills, no one should be calling me unless I invited them to. If I want something I will get it. Don't know about you guys but I am at the point enough is enough, calling all hours, hang ups, cannot understand what language they are speaking. Time for some old fashion medicine.

Two calls about an hour apart selling on line directory listing. Have filed a formal complaint with the Indiana AG against them. Hopefully that will help stop them.

concur with many other comments before; these chaps have been calling, of and on, last year 2008 and this year; my solution -- when I see the number pop up, I hang up!

Called our company several times in last couple of weeks.  I've confirmed our info. they have on file is correct then was past to someone else in "Quality Control", I believe.  He asked for MY personal information for security purposes.  Who's security???? Most likely not mine.  I don't own this company, just work here.  They don't need any information about me for Yellow Pages, I think he said with his Indian accent.  I can not imagine this is legal or on the up and up.  What are the appropriate steps to take to halt all of these types of calls.

Got a call yesterday saying they were updating some free business listing at United States Online Directory...  Started asking personal information.  Rude behavior.

How great is our Country when it allows scammers from other countries to repeatedly call and annoy us? Why do we bother to pay taxes to fund a Government that does not look after our interests?

We recieve several calls a week from this number. It is so hard to answer the call center with them constantly calling. After the information was updated they wanted to pass me to "Quality Manager". What is up with that. I hung up. They called back, the call was disconnected again. They want take "stop calling here" for an answer.

I'm so glad that this site exists.  I didn't answer the call because I didn't recognize the area code and now I know to avoid it in the future.  Thanks to all for posting a complaint!

I must have mad these screw balls mad. I answered our phone with two words and as soon as the screw ball started talking, I put it on mute and after he said hello hello 5 or 6 times, he hung up.  Must have made him mad as he has called back two times and hung up.  It's taking up more of his time than mine, I'm retired.

These people are a great stress relief.  I have cussed them out no less than 5 times in the last 2 days and they keep calling back.

I also have received these calls for the past 2 weeks.  I have reported them to the AG's office and registered again on the DO NOT CALL list.  Then they call back with an anonymous name/number.  HELP!

Got a call from 546-286-6611.  Thought my residence was a business.

Relentless attempts from this number to contact me. They never leave a message. Very obnoxious phone etiquette.

Kept saying hello no one on the line hung up.

This is one of three numbers I'm aware of that are doing this (also a company called ZipNet does this, the three numbers I've seen are 546-286-6611, 877-408-3390, and 703-456-1212), what I've found to work is this:  When you get the rep on the phone, ask politely for their name, the company name, and the state they are in.  Once you have this information inform them (in a harsh, yelling tone) that you will be immediately contacting their state's Atty General as well as pursuing a lawsuit against them for harrassment.  Tell them that they as an individual will also be included in any complaints and/or lawsuits.  So far this has worked for two of the numbers, I have only recenly started getting calls from the 546-number.  Don't waste time feeling bad for the reps, they fully know what kind of scam company they work for.

Yellow pages scam from 1-546-286-6611. Called the FTC as my # on do not call list. They cannot take action on a single complaint but will take action if they receive a number of complaints. You cannot put a 546 area code into the complaints section of the "Do Not Call" web site so you must call them.
