and does not abide to the DNC lists.  We as Tax Payers pay their salary so I feel they are State/City/ or County servants and should be treated as Federal Employees which are not allowed to HAWK FOR MONEY for any person or organization!!!!

I said "hello", then click.  Busy ever since.  What can be done?

I put the number in the auto dialer and eventually the timing was perfect.....my call was answered in error as he was trying to dial out.  He thought I was the guy he was dialing....said he was with Boca Cops for Kids.  I put him on mute for a few seconds.   When he said hello I hung up on him.  I will say that we are even.

I just received a call from 561-296-1952. It's been months since this number called  me up until today> I had previously reported them to the FCC.

They called this morning and hung up when I picked up the phone. Makes sense that it is the Boca area PBA as stated in other comments, as I have been solicited by them before. Thanks to those of you who *69 'd the number so we are all better informed. Eventually telephone solicitation will be brought down by everyone working together through reporting websites!

they constantly call day and night...rude as can be .....these people need to be stopped.  How do you go about reporting this to someone who can make them stop these harrassing calls.

What happeneed to the Do Not Call Regestry.  I want the calls to stop

I believe you have to do the "Do Not Call" registry every 5 years.

We recently unplugged all our landline phones and use that for internet only. This number is one that would call us very frequently. As someone else said, they are considered a charity and are not required to adhere to the DNC registry anyway.

I sure hope these people and all the other charity wannabes that used to try to sell us everything under the sun or ask us for a "small donation" are having fun listening to nothing but ringing when they call!!

A firm supposedly hawking for the Police Benevolance Association, but in reality probably taking 95 cents on every dollar.  Here's what you do if you want to have fun...keep calling the number until you get through, it won't ring, you'll hear a dialer then say hello.  The sollicitor will ask for a person, then start screwing with them.  when they hang up, stay on the line and it will start dialing again, repeat hello process and pranking again, repeat again and again...

I just kept the poor slob in this loop for 15 minutes with obnoxious sounds and my kids tormenting him.  That's what he gets for telemarketing us on April Fool's Day :-)

Received call today at 11:00hrs.  Thanks to this website I now know who it is since the only ID is West Palm Beach FL.  I do not answer call from numbers I do not recognize.  Thanks to all that have posted here

Yep - I got a phone call from these dopes as well. They couldn't even pronounce my last name correctly! Then the gal asked if I speak English!!

Strange brew.

Just got a call at 10:00 AM.No name on caller ID.Hung up when answer machne picked up.They call every day several time a day.I just want it to stop.

wow, thanks , now it makes more sense...I could not figure out why a solicitor would bother to call , and then just " say sorry wrong number" and hang up, and repeatedly, at that. I've been getting these calls from multiple numbers all affiliated with one another. 561-296-1947, 561-296-0460, and 561-296-1969. They trace to a 704A postal code. and all the same location.

You'd think the West Palm Beach Police Dept. would get sick and tired of their department being scammed and would at least look this guy up and tune him in. But maybe they get a cut, that's what it looks like to the public. Another active number (same guy) is 561-296-1949. Read and Heed.

Wow, so this number has been evildoing since 2008???  Here it is March 10, 2012 and they are still at it!  Just got a call moments ago.  Years ago I got a call from Police Benov Assoc asking for money and when I replied that I had just donated days prior, the rude prick on the other end of the phone screamed at me "but did you get a decal? (for your car) Did you? Did YOU?!? HUH? WHAT COLOR IS IT??? OURS ARE BLUE!  YOU DID NOT DONATE TO US!!!!" The telemarketer went totally schizoballistic on me.  I hung up (this was the first time I had ever hung up on anyone in my life). I was left shaken and confused and very rattled for the rest of the day.  I mean this psycho had my name and phone number, what else did he have?  I vowed right then and there to never EVER give to any organization with "police" or "benevolent" in their name ever again.  I NEVER have and I NEVER will. And I tell everybody I know.  Please pass my story on and help put these dirtbags out of business FOR GOOD!

They keep calling asking for the person that used to have this number  I keep telling them they have the wrong number and to remove this number from their list.  They just start talking over me and move right into their shpeel about sending us a donation envelope. 1) If you want a donation from someone, DO NOT cut them off and start talking over them .. rudeness gets you nowhere  2) Stop preying on innocent people to scam them out of money as this *IS* a scam
