5612961948 does the same. They ask for PBA donation but refuse to send mailed request. If it is not a scam I would be shocked. The PBA should be notified about their abuse of the system.

Police Benevolent Association is not a  "charitable" organization. They are the UNION for
the Police in Palm Beach County.  If you are donating to them, stop being foolish you are
paying their dues and the elected officers of the union.

They also solicit for "Cops for Kids"  if the cops want to do this they should do it on their dime,
NOT yours..

Very high=pressure tactic. Woman called from (561) 296-1952, calling on behalf of "Palm Bch County Sheriff's Benevolence" re "gang-related crimes in area". Wanted a $15.00 donation & then handed phone to "Natasha" - to verify address. She wanted to  send an "envelope' for donation. Questioned both women for their address - given 1509 N. Lake Worth Rd in zip code area 33467, which is in Lake Worth! (not Boca Raton, Boynton Beach, or Delray Beach as listed below).  Also mentioned the "Do-Not-Call List" and declined to commit to sending a donation at this time.  Then checked out the number on this site.  Enuff said. . .
