Keep getting calls from this number.  I'm not wasting my time since its probably a sales pitch anyway.  BUT, its annoying in any case.

Called it back, says not accepting calls at this time. Cell phone number out of florida. Claims to be a debt reduction company.

This is a total scam, they change their name and number periodically because what they are doing is not a legitimate business. I have gotten through to "reps" and when I ask them to remove me, they hang up on me....what real consumer driven business would do that??? As this point I mess around with them and at least get some enjoyment out of being annoyed on a regular basis.

My caller id said this number came from a Mitchell Alan...obviously a telemarketer or political call. I plan to report it to the do not call list...like that will do any good.

The caller ID displayed MITCHELL ALAN for 561-866-0693 and was a recording about VA home mortgages.  I pressed "1" so I could talk to someone and the lady said VA HELP DESK blah, blah, blah.  When I asked why Alan Mitchell was displayed on the caller ID she mumbled something and humg up.  The recording was the same as from many, many other call numbers identifying themselves as VA HELP DESK or VA SOLUTIONS.  Just about anything you say to them they hang up, just to call again, and again, and again...  Really gets irritating and each time I file a complaint.  Can't find any info on either company or for the numbers they use.

Was on my cell when my home phone rang, it said Mitchell Alan didn't recognize the name so I didn't pick it up. He didn't leave a message.

Easy to get rid of - Answer the Phone as Officer Jones (or any name you prefer) police department, FRAUD division.  You'd be surprised how quickly they dump you.

IF YOU WANT TO HAVE SOME FUN, Get their FULL Name, return number (in case you are disconnected) and let them give their speech, THEN introduce yourself as Officer Jones, FRAUD Division.  You will litterally hear them S**t a brick.

Then politely notify them that you are reporting THEIR NAME and Number to the FCC - for violating the Federal Do Not Call List.

I've been getting calls from this number, i pick up and there is no answer and then they hang up, I also tried calling back and its a "non-working" number. So i downloaded an application on my phone that allows me to block calls, which has worked so far.

wow. i am on the national do not call list and its not a scam im sure, i think it ends in .org or .gov
so i thought it would work.

well do u like being called a f. ing b.i.t.c.h? thats what a woman called me she sounded like she was days away from getting those mechanical voices due to her 3packs a day.

thank you, that is very helpful, i did not give 3years of my life to go to afganistan, and 2 of them stateside, to have a telemarketer of a scam representing the VA no less- to call me a [***] when I politely mentioned to her i was n the national dp not call list for over 2months, and to take me off, otherwise her company she works for will have a hefty FCC fine to pay.

You should call the VA mortgage company and let them hear
the phone call. How could they knowingly let that type of business
name drop "VA Mortgage"? I predict they are using the VA name falsely which could get them a bigger fine. Everyone should start recording telemarketers nasty attitudes. As a single mother I know I didn't leave my kid at home for a year to fight for that type of freedom of speech.

People record them and send the sound file to your congressmen.
Or Veterans Affairs number under your state congressmen.

Enough people have complained so do something about it. I called VA Benefit number and let em know, that the VA name is being drug in the mud by crappy phonewarriors.

Received calls from this number several times. No one is on line. When dial back a voice mail msg stated that the number is not accepting calls at this time.

if you contacted them and provided your number for relief then your do not call does not render with them
