Yeah, it was just Kaiser letting me know the prescription I recently ordered has been processed and will be mailed to me

This (for me anyway) call was from the Kaiser Permanente message center to tell me I was due for a lab procedure. I think your name comes up when you need some specific test and it has an automated message that you receive when you call back. It is probably used for any manner of different situations that are more advisory than serious, like pharm shipments and tests you might require.

Kaiser Pharmacy letting me know my refill has shipped.  I guess I'll add this number to my phone so it will ID them as "Kaiser Pharmacy" next time!

I always use the Kaiser Mail Order Pharmacy and receive the calls to let me know my Rx has been mailed, but today I received a strange call from this phone number (562-401-5940) asking me to enter my Medical Record Number.  I hung up.  This sounds like a scam where they call you and to verify you start asking personal information.

BEWARE - NEVER, NEVER, NEVER provide personal information when any person or business calls you - they are phishing (yes, that is spelled correctly - look it up) for information so they can steal your identity.  Did I say NEVER?  NEVER EVER!

Its not necessarily pharmacy/prescription calls.... I have Kaiser, but have never made a claim or filed a prescription. They have no reason to call me.

Mr. Stephen Marsh Jr. of Atlanta,Georgia
It was a Thursday afternoon, and I was in the middle of eating my pimento cheese and ham sandwich.  After my third bite, I heard the song, "How you like me now?", which is my ring tone.   I didn't answer, I didn't want to be rude, with a mouth full of pimento cheese.   So I pushed it to VM, (Voice Mail for the Dumb Arsses Obama Lovers), and continued on to my kkk meeting.

I was shopping with a load of merchandize when I got a robo call from this number on my cell phone.  First the robot said it was Kaiser calling with message for Doug and wanted me to confirm by entering my Kaiser medical record number.  I was a little perturbed at the interuption, but dug my card out and entered the number thinking I would then get my message.  Then it asked for my birth date.  I generally don't give out my personal info in a call I did not originate, so I hung up and later reported this call to Kaiser.  They are checking into it.  Base on what I've read here it probably wasn't a phishing situation, but it felt like one.  In any case, it was certainly rude for Kaiser to expect me to just drop what I was doing to feed them answers to who knows how many questions.  All it needed to say was "Call the 1-800 number on your Kaiser card and enter such and such extension.

That's because it's not a telemarketing call. It's regarding your health care. Idiot.

My phone rang I answered but did not say anything (easiest way to tell a telemarketer is to not speak when answering) sure enough an automated message started identifying it as Kaiser. I hung up and added the number to my rejected list. I have Kaiser but I don't give a crap for them contacting me in this manner, their email is blocked, there number is blocked this is still unsolicited phone calling and I will not stand for it...

It's Kaiser telling me about Flu Clinics.
Not sure why everyone wants to get off of the Kaiser List...
It's like saying that you don't want 911 to call you..
911 - "yes, Mr W... there is a mad man roaming your neighborhood.. do not go outside or you may get hurt"
Mr . "Take me off your list.. i don't want any calls from you"
    DUH!!
Anyway, I don't like marketing calls either..
but if I were one that took my annual flu shots each year.. and I wanted them free from KAISER since I'm already paying a pretty $$$ each month for coverage... then heck yeah... give me my phone call.

We been getting phone calls ever on Saturday or Sunday 9:04. I called the Downey Kaiser office talk to the members manager. I was told that they fund the phone number and there will be no more call. We still getting calls on Saturdays and now on Wednesday too. We are sick and tiered of this.

This is usually Kaiser calling with their generic "A Prescription Has Been Mailed..." message. That's pretty innocuous - and I let things go to an answering machine anyway for screening. Very occasionally, it's some other announcement, usually related to flu shots or some similar program; again, fairly innocuous. Lately, I've gotten several on a Sunday that didn't leave a message - suspicious. I haven't gotten one that asks for any immediate response or entry of a MRN - that would be very suspicious, though if they want me to call the Message Center that's possibly OK (I'll check online, not calling the 800 number). But then a lot of telemarketers are spoofing legit numbers now so by policy I just don't answer the phone unless the callerID is somebody known, and even then I've been burned a few times.

That is NOT a telemarketer.  It's the pharmacy notification of prescription being mailed.

The message left was informing me that my prescription was ready for pick up.  I really like this service.  Kaiser is pretty progressive so if they could also offer the options of text messaging and email it would be even better.

11/16/16 - This is the Kaiser pharmacy message center with messages about prescriptions you have filled. It is NOT a telemarketer, and you are not connected to a live human so I don't know how someone told you they would not take you off their list. Especially since it is NOT a list. They also provide an option to tell them not to call you on this number anymore. I, for one, appreciate being told when my prescription is ready so that I can go pick it up.
