I received four calls from this number last week.  When I finally answered today the man on the other end of the line just started yelling "Kurt Schickle is a robot!'  I hung up on him after he started in with the profanities.  I have not recently rented a car from Enterprise.

I got the same call.  it is a research firm.  the can represent many companies.  
i just took my range rover in for service and they were calling with a satisfaction survey.  they call after every service

I got two missed calls from 571-431-1844 on my cell phone.  No clue who it is.

yes if you rent a car from Enterprise: you will get a follow up call each time to determine your level of satisfaction............and this is one number they use:.................

I dont know if it is the only user of these call survey people: ...........but for Enterprise it is a legit call..

I complained about some bad service with Enterprise and immediately received a free rental weekend with upgrade...........and was very satisfied as a result.

So do take the time to respond if it says Enterprise

Received a call tonight, didn't answer. I recently rented a car from enterprise.

I also just rented from Enterprise last week and was called by this number.  I didn't answer and they left no message

This number called me at 5:30PM in Canada, also no message left

Market research company based on the fact that we just rented a car from Enterprise Rent a Car this past weekend.  You can call it back and it will go to a message that gives you a phone number to call to be removed from this research group.  It says it can call because its not selling anything, just gathering market research. hmmmmm

Received a call from 571 431 1844 at 7:50 EDT Jun 3, 2010.  No message was left.

Caller ID just displayed "571-431-1844" - left no message but a return call identified the number as Merits Research - a market research data collection company- They indicated that they are exempt from the DNC list, as they are not a tellamarketing firm, but they DO have their own dont call list that you can add your number to by calling 800-864-8601.

Got called again today - three times.  Not at home so missed calls.  Called their 800 number to remove our number from their call list.  We'll see if it works this time as have done so previously ( in Feb/10 and Apr/10 ), but just kept getting calls.

They say kurt schickle real loud and yell at me.  Not very nice people!

Even though Maritz is exempt from state and federal Do Not Call lists, you can tell them to put you on their company Do Not Call list, and they are legally required to do so.  The other option is to call Maritz's automated Do Not call list and when prompted enter in your phone number to stop further calls.  Fight back people :)
