Anyone who has suffered from monthly text subscription charges from SONNERIER on number 57782 should go to this website and claim back on the call charges.
I and 83 other folks complained when we found out about this and Phonepayplus have banned them from this service (only for 12 months though) and fined them £175k.

    Checkout here:
    http://www.phonepayplus.org.uk/output/recent-adjudications.aspx
and search for SONNERIER look for the consumer action for details.

GET YOUR MONEY BACK... it does work
e-mail customercare@mblox.com or Phone 0845 883 3282 and ask them to check your pay-as-you-go phone bill for any chargeable messages from SONNERIER and get them refunded.
DONT LET THEM AWAY WITH THIS...

    Cheers,

    Mack1

since leaving my comments on 18th december 09, i have recieved cashed and had cleared a cheque for 35.00 from customer services on the 08458693452 number. i just told them that i calculated using my bills over the last 2 years and they accepted the amount i asked for. good luck to anyone else who has had the same   problems with the company.

I must say as a Pay As You Go (T-mobile) user I always deleted and ignored their messages (smiliar to any spam emails) and had no idea they are charging.

I have also never subscribed to any mobile services in the past so this is clearly a scam project.

I shall contact T-mobile and hope they will provide me with a bill statement covering the last months.

After that I will look into possible ways to prosecute /investigate them. BBC might also be a great place to ask for help (eg consumer watchdog or editorial). Citizen Advise bureau seems also like a good choice.

Calling this company and having a bullsh*t conversation with their 'customer service' doesn't look wise.

I am also surprised that our mobile network providers (as mentioned in the previous stories)
suggest that we call this company or send them a 'STOP' sms.

I wouldn't be surprised if this scam company had bought/stolen our numbers from some call centre database and tried to get away with this scam as long as they can .

    Time to stop them.

    All the best.

I forgot to add that the messages were sent by a company called ''marketbybrand'' ('help line number' 08081201902). The text itself mentions ''NEW HOT BABE VIDEOS ...to TEXT VIDZ   ''.

It seems after they send you these unwanted fraudulent messages to your mobile somehow your mobile will sent automatically a SMS to the number 7000 440 69 and you are charged at 2 UKP.

Seriously not sure how they can get away with kind of obvious scam!

I was just going through my messages, deleting old ones when I noticed a bunch of these from 57782 all with the same text = '57782'.
I have sent a STOP message back to them, but how can someone get away with charging for sending a text, their nedds to be a tighter control of these thieves.
