some idiot keeps calling my cel phone from this number. Dont these stupid fools know we have caller id?   If they are a collection agency, they are calling for a debt back in the early 1990s.  Didnt pay it then, do you think  they Im concerned about it now?  Why would anyone take such a stupid job?

Dozens of calls, no messages.  Caller ID says "Asset Acceptance"

I have looked up this number and it comes up as Asset Acceptance.I do not know who  there are but they call my cell phone at twice a week leave no message.They can call my phone till there fingers fall off i will not answer it.If they don't leave a name and a number i am not calling them.I wonder if they would like me to call them at home and work?

I got called by this number earlier and the message was "Sorry I have the wrong number." But then they called back twice. I'm glad I looked it up. Hate scammers! We should be allowed to charge them for calling us.

This guys calls saying there is an important business matter and then give my last 4 digits of my SS# and then says stay on the line I'm going to connect you.  Then they hung up.  What is that all about?

I've been getting these calls as well... I finally called my service provider and told them about the number. They were able to block the number and I do't receive the calls anymore. If anyone is still having issues with it, just call your service and they can block it for you.

I just missed a call from this number and when I tried calling it back I was unable to.

Gotten calls from them 17 times now... and they hang up as soon as I pick up.

i answered with mute on my cell phone and there was silence for 15 sec and then they hang up! i bet it was some kinda scam ! be carefull

This is a debt collection agency, Asset Acceptance. I just paid 2 bills off with them and they were very helpful....the person that "could barely speak English" was someone who would have transferred you over to someone who can speak "English" so if you owe a bill, you might want to call back and either tell them they really have a wrong # or you need to just pay your bill. F.Y.I. You CAN GET A REDUCTION IN UR BILL....IT'S CALLED A SETTLEMENT!!!

If you are getting these calls and they are for you, then you need to answer and pay your bill... if you do not owe any bills and the "cell phone" you are receiving these calls on is a new phone # for you, then maybe you should consider calling back to tell them it"s a wrong number. THEN YOU WONT GET CALLS ANYMORE!!! WOW REALLY??? WHAT ARE YOU REALLY SCARED OF THAT UR NOT PICKING UP YOUR PHONE???

Because these people probably make more money than you do. Fact. Pay ur bills. You've contributed to the rising interest rates, and probably still are by not paying your bills.... Thanks.

this number keeps calling me for no reason

I have a family plan with both of my sons.  One of them approached me yesterday and said that he gets a call from this number 3 to 4 times a week.  I researched and read most of the posts and told him not to answer it.  He told me that he never does.  It would be nice to put a block on these calls but it costs to do that.  I guess being on the do not call list doesn't apply to annoying people with nothing better to do.

This number is a scam, or creditor, or telemarketer. To all those out there , disregard this number. I to get this call. It is a person who is trying to scam you.
