- N in TexasLegit call back from Expedia. I had to cancel a reservation due to a death, and they called me back to let me know that the hotel waived the cancellation fee. I'm sure that scammers are able to spoof their number, as well as any number, but this really was a legitimate call.

- Ashley| 1 replyThey called 3 times and left a message about my upcoming hotel stay. I called orbitz then the hotel. Orbitz called the hotel for me as well. All was good on their ends that I was confirmed. They both didn't know anything about this caller. Then I finally spoke to them and they said I could get there and I have no room. Then went on to say she's 100% sure I won't have a room when I get there and was trying to pressure me. Then she offered to call the hotel even though orbitz and I already did. So I get to the hotel and I have a room. I'm literally in the room and they call saying that I won't have a room when I get there. I'm like I am in the room? Such bs. Expedia did over book and a lot of people did get relocated when they got there. There was a number for them to call that everyone would get a room. Not like the caller making it seem like you'd be sleeping on the street. The hotel said everyone paid would be put in a new room that they aren't canceling people. I would have rather just waited and got relocated when I got there. Much safer the going through them. I think it's a scam. I didn't get far enough to know if they'd be asking for personal info or not.

- RandyAs of 11/2/16, this is a legit Expedia number It is an Expedia number that is only used for outbound calling. They have an intelligent recording now that tells you it is only used for outbound calling and tells you to call the number on your itinerary. I received the call because Expedia failed to change a reservation.
Unfortunately, "Other" is not an option for the call type, so I am unable to accurately put in a call type.
This was a legitimate support call from an automated call back system.- Caller: Expedia
- Randy replies to AshleyNot a scam. This is the number you get a call from when Expedia screws up big time.
- laura7:44 am call? not able to call back..they were lucky my cell was silenced

- c| 1 replythese guys called me, then tried to use another number (480-270-8191), then tried again using this number. left two voicemails: both of them were basically nothing but indistinguishable background noises. crackles here and there, some unidentifiable movement... blocked the numbers after reading the stuff posted here. ain't nobody got time for that bs.
- c replies to calso, to be clear, i hadn't made any plans expedia since two months ago,
- This is not a prank call. Its a Scam replies to annyomousThese people are really good. They know almost all of your info. They actually knew that I booked a hotel through Orbitz. Told be that my room was being moved to a different hotel at no extra charge. They ask you to hold until everythings complete. Then they ask for cc info to reserve room. Only thing is that its a Scam. I told him no info and i was calling hotel. He hung up. SCAM.
- Not Expedia replies to SimonThey are not Expedia They are very well coached scammers. They will either tell you that your flight has changed or hotel is overbookef. They will ask you for cc info and drain your bank account. Don't fall for it. They have tried this BS with me twice and once i called them out they hang up try something else

- Caller: Expedia
- ChicagoCalled at 12:30 AM. Said that they were from "Travel Company" trying to make a flight reservation for some woman I've never heard of (with a very made-up sounding name) and she had given my name as the contact. Were asking for my credit card to fix the reservation. Very good English but with an accent - Indian maybe? After about the 3rd time I told them I didn't know anyone by that name, I hung up on them.
