Just adding to the list for the benefit of others.. same as everyone else.. postcard "Sorry We Missed You" from MSG Delivery Service.  Handwritten date that was the closing date of our new purchase. Even has a parcel number 20475.  For re-delivery call 602-341-3501

Do yourself a favor and just throw it in the trash.

Same story as all the rest, pretty sneaky.

Thanks to all who take the time to post. It is helpful to recognize scams. Bought a home. First attempt to deliver from MSG Delivery Service  was the date of closing on our home.  Sad thing is, we received 2 other post cards like this from 2 other companies. I see MSG has been at this for awhile; looks like others are following suit. Moving is a busy and stressful time. Last thing you need is to muck through scams.

I also just bought a new house. Have only had the house for 4 days and I got both the "sorry we missed you" post card as well as the "Final Notice" post card just this minute. My kids got excited thinking there was a mystery package coming. LOL! I told them it was junk mail... after seeing this, I now know that I was right!

This is a [***] sales scam for Honeywell Security.  They mail you a card telling you that they have packages to deliver that require an Adult Signature.  When you call back they tell you they have "free gifts" for you.  In reality they are trying to sell you a security service.  These [***] should be outlawed.

Received a card in my mail box from MSG Delivery Service. It's dated 09-09-16. Attempted Delivery box checked but I was home when the mail arrived. No one attempted Delivery since I we  did not move in until after date noted. We just recently purchased a home. I'm glad I didn't bother to call but instead check out phone number listed. I almost called. Thanks for all the information.

Thank you for the posts - very helpful.  I received the same card and thought it was odd since it was mailed and not left on the door.  Also it stated that they had 5 parcels that needed an adult signature.  I don't think I've ever received 5 parcels at one time.  Another odd thing was that the delivery date was dated for Friday, very similar to above posts, but it was dated for the Friday prior to the week I actually closed on the house, so they must be targeting sales & pending sales as well.  Thanks again.

Same thing. Bought house, got card in mail from MSG Delivery. I am not expecting any packages. Glad I checked here.

I too received a delivery failure notice and just recently purchased home in Phoenix.  Thanks for all the input here I now know it is a scam.
