Not sure who or what they want. One ring and no voice mail. Obviously a scam call because if it were a bill collector we all know how they call over and over and leave tons of meassages. Do not answer.

Left message on my phone saying I needed to call them back as soon as possible. I don't know anyone in New Hampshire and never went there or have any business to do there which puzzeled. Then I googled the number when I saw it was a scam.

It's a bill collector.  I let my insurance with progressive run out and owe them 175. So this company is collecting it. If they are calling you owe someone money,  bottom line.

Just got a call it rang twice no message Left.
please note that when answering these calls you may be subject to a scam.  Therefore to protect yourself  never give your address your name nor account numbers.  They can easily obtain other personal information and obtain credit in your name then it tales you forever to clear things up.

Wow! It's crazy that everyone is just stating its a scam when they haven't talked to anyone. Why not just say, I think it could be a scam or I don't know what it is. That would be accurate. Truth is, it's a debt collector for progressive insurance.

I have a new Tracfone with a number that I have not given to anyone.  How did these [***] get it?

Once u obtain a working number it becomes public info and this wonderful " do not call " list is for telemarkers not debt collectors

They called my cell phone, and I have not given this number to ANYONE!   It is a Tracfone that is strictly for emergencies on the road, but I think that someone else had the number before me because I have been getting a lot of weird calls and texts.

Cell phone numbers are not "public info".

and I just have a little helpful advice when you have your voicemail on your cell phone make sure you do not put your first and last name just give a generic greeting therefore they cannot trace if I have prepaid account anyway I didn't have any kind of account with a major cell phone company I have only prepay so therefore they will not get any information fishing for it that way I will not answer the phone if they leave a phone number or a message thats legit I will contact them otherwise if I'm not interested in doing business with you I would delete that number off if they continue to harass with more phone calls to my phone number on my cell phone number I will delete them I will also ask the company I do business with the to block that number I believe that I have one of those smart phones so I can do that myself I don't even need to contact anybody and if all else fails I will contact Better Business Bureau and report that number end of story.

have had many calls from this number. no one answers when I pick up the phone. I wish it would stop. I feel as though I'm being terrorized.

They just called my 8yr old daughters cell they said she had a balance due?!? So i called and asked what company they are from the rep. Told me she could Not tell me why they are calling but she wanted my information . i told her you want my info but i can't have yours ?!? So i told her your calling my 8yr old cell what are you trying to collect from a child that is NOT ABLE TO OPEN ACCOUNTS ? She said i think i have the wrong person.NOPE TOTAL SCAM !!

CCS Debt collectors

The company is CCS ... Credit Collection Services.  I got a call from this number and they answered identifying themselves as CCS.  I don't know what all the other comments are about.  It was easy to figure out.

Not a scam. Obviously the number assigned to your daughters phone was previously assigned to a deadbeat.  BTW,  just curious as to why an 8 year old needs a cell phone.  Not judging, maybe you have a reason that I've never considered.
