A male called my job claiming he was from a collection agency. He claim he was collecting from a surgical center out of Greensboro, NC

Got the same message.  Clearly a scam.

We just got the same call on our unlisted number.

The sent a paper to me regarding a debt I owed which I do and they knew who it was I owe it too. Don't think it's a scam

they called and said I'm getting this call for a debt collection. I know thats not true. Never had an over due payment in my life. Wanted me to call back 610-239-7174. The woman left her name and extension. I almost called for ha ha's but decided against it.

They keep calling but leave no information.

Received a call from a woman who left message she is calling from the law office of joe cardis about a debt. I called back got a woman who answered. I told her extremely firmly ( without giving my name or # as I am sure the number shows up when I call in ) that I better not get another phone call from her or anybody else there ever again or they would here from my attorney! I told them take my number out of their system, I was reporting this # and name to the attorney general and by the way I'm recording this message for accuracy! The lady was speechless and said ok we will. We shall see if I get a call back. I am still reporting it to the attorney generals office in the state of Pennsylvania.

Have no outstanding debt , but I called back anyway . The woman stated did you receive a letter or call from us! At that point I knew something did not seem right. My husband told me to "be smarter than this, you know if you owe " . I will contact my attorney if necessary !

left voice message on my home phone on 2 occasions.  Both time the woman on the phone said she from law office calling to collect a debt,  all information I give use only to settle my debt.  This is BS.   I know I don't have any debt.   I blocked that number

We have received two calls from this number this week and when I tried to contact them, the phone message that we received is repeated and then the line transfers and just rings and rings with no answering machine. They are sure to announce that there is no attorney involved yet in this dept collection.

I received two VM messages from this number, it was a woman from Joel Cardis Law Offices. She was looking to get information for a debt collection, stating that any information given would be used for the debt collection. It was difficult to understand her. I didn't return the first call, but did return the second call with the intention of NOT giving my name (as I have no debt collection issues), but with the intent of letting them know they had the wrong person. Upon calling, the woman identified herself (same woman as the voicemail), and asked if I was "Ethan". I told her no, and that there was no Ethan here and I had this number for a couple of years. She apologized and said she would correct her files. I asked if they would be calling again, and she said no, she was correcting the file, and apologized a second time.

Got a call at 6:30 am and the next day same time. What the heck are people calling this early in the morning.

This person calls and waits for VM to pick up and then they hang up without leaving a message.  Joel Cardis is the name that shows up on caller ID.  After reading a few posts I can see that this is a scam.

I also got a call from this ph number.

Received message from this number saying they are an attorney office responsible to collect a debt. Spoke fast  could hardly understand him

Called at 8:am and asked for someone who doesn't live here. I think there telephone terrorist groups seeing who answers caught me off guard as I was just getting up. Phone pirates have no soul or morals .just wish I could use my taser gun through the phone line and stop these phone pukes
