they called several times this past week to my cell phone, i did not answer and they did not leave a message.

Or, save yourself all the above trouble, which is useless, by the way, and just don't answer calls from unknown numbers. Or answer and if it's not someone you are interested in talking to, hang up.
I just don't see the reason for all the turmoil over an unsolicited call.

Called a few times. Looked up on here and blocked it. It is disturbing that had your ss#!

Just called and did not answer

Just got a call from this number on my work cell phone.  I answered identifying the company I work for "AT&T" and they hung up.  I don't know why scammers call phone company employee paid devices.  Our security can track that.  Not sure why they don't use it to us consumers get to origin of these scam calls..would be nice!  

Called my cell phone phone today.  Did not leave a message.  I tried to send a text message that this number had been reported on the internet as a scam and to take me off their call list.  However, my text was not delivered.  Phone reported an Error in sending to an invalid number.

Received a call from this number from "Kevin." I hung up and added him to my reject list.

Today, it was "Mary" calling about unsecured debt. I told her to f-off and hung up. Number is now blocked.

Got this call and said her name was Mary. Wanted to help me get out of debt. Said it was not a sales call. Told her I am debt free. First time she did not listen and wanted to continue. Told her again I am debt free. Then said said ok and thank you then she hung up.

Got a call from the number today.  Total scam job going on here.  Asked if I had large debts to consolidate.  When I said no, he still tried to push.  I then told him that I was aware that he was a scammer because I looked on this page when he called before.  He abruptly hung up.  What a joke!  I can't believe that people still fall for this kind of garbage.

I replied to a Craigslist ad for a van.  No reply from my email but now I get calls from this number.  I won't answer unknown numbers and after reading this I have blocked it. Thank you to all for their input!

22sep14  11:40 AM - got a call from this number and I let the machine pick it up. They left no message. Other posts here said the caller wanted to get them out of debt. It may be a coincidence but ten minutes prior to this call I activated my new Visa Card.

Appeared on Caller ID as "Not In Use"... just how stupid do these a**holes think we are? Did not answer and the caller did not leave a message. Big surprise there.
Our household rule is if Caller ID reads "Unavailable" then so are we. Not In Use was a new one on us.

Appeared as Minneapolis, MN.  When this number called, I "answered" but did not say anything.  I think most of these calls are voice activated and they hang up if you do not say anything..

I had about 4 calls from this number.  What is funny when it comes up it says not in use.

All day keep calling on my cellphone. No message at all.

If your security team can track it, do it!

This number called at 12:59 PM with a "name" of Not In Use.  The phone rang 4 times and then disconnected..  At 2:04 PM The number 1-612-351-3173 called with a "name" of Unknown Name. The phone only rang one time and then it disconnected.  I don't answer calls from numbers I don't recognize.  We have also been getting calls from UNKNOWN NAME with no phone number shown on the caller ID.  We have received at least 5 of those calls during the month of September.

Nbr shows being out of Mpls, MN. Called twice in 20 min. Did not answer it as don't know anyone in MN.
The federal Do Not Call list is a joke. About ready to shut the phone off completely.
