- kelly| 1 replyREAD THIS I ACTUALLY TOOK CALL And PARTICIPATED IN SURVEY. I was wondering if i got scammed but after reading so many people who didnt respond to call or take survey i wanted to post a msg. I did post one after i took survey maybe on different site. I got a call on Sunday from "survey for Ohio health insurance" I was told if I participated I would receive a gift card. I was on phone for about 45 minutes. I didn't have to answer any questions I didn't feel comfortable with and skipped plenty that seemed to be fishing for personal info like what city I live in. I only gave my initials and county. At the end of phone call I was asked to give email address to receive my gift card. I was hesitant thinking it was a scam but gave it anyway. A little over 24 hrs. Later I received email to redeem a gift card. I chose amazon though there was other options. It was for $10. I redeemed it following the instructions in the email and have a $9.99 book ordered and on the way. That's all I did it was free but DID take about 45 minutes and on a SUNDAY. If u have free time to spare and like $10 free go for it but if u don't like long calls I'd skip.

- jerryGot a call from same number and did not answer. Generally I would answer these type calls and then tell them not to call again and file a complaint on the Do Not Call website especially if I get a second call. Since this was a new cell and I just registered it on the DNC website I cannot complain yet. If enough people file complaints and write there congressman about the Do Not Cal laws they passed are not being enforced may something will be done to stop the public from being bothered.

- Sandra| 2 repliesHealthcare survey took about 20 minutes questions were worded as though written by someone who isn't educated in medical terms. Waiting on the gift card. They didn't get any info I wasn't comfortable giving, they only have my second email address so don't know heo they would scam me or get anything from me. They don't have my name or any other information. Still, should have the gift card by now and the lady on the phone was not able to clarify any questions.
- Caller: State of Ohio?

- bob replies to Sandra| 1 replyIf they only have your second email address and no name, how will the gift card reach you?
- R replies to kellyHow long did it take to get the giftcard email? I did the survey days ago and still no email.
- R replies to bobThey email the giftcard
- BrendaBogus call on a Sunday from this number received several previously. From doing a google search I understand this is a call about healthcare that would never occur on a Sunday eve if it was legit. I've also recently gotten calls that led to a Sherman Oaks, CA ups store that were supposedly from a legal firm. Beware calls from California, Arizona and Florida. They may all be connected.
- anonThis number calls me on my phone since I had a case manager who gave out my phone number to these ppl, rti, they do research, its a health survey using a columbus oh area code, they call on my cell phone to use up my minutes, I wont answer, if you give out your email address you can still be scammed, dont answer hooe they stop calling, targets are disability, mentally challenged, if you get an mail with $10 how to retrieve that $10 if you use on amazon.com, (one comment reads she used gift on amazon) then they have all your account info, digital snoops, cell phone minute hoggers, the state of ohio doesnt do health surveys like this nor would they offer you $10, get real here ppl, can u all be that easily conned? Think about, millions of medicare medicaid dependant clients in ohio, what has the state done for u lately? State of ohio doesnt have $10 in gift cards to give each caller that answers, its an obvious scam ppl, wake up, use ur logic, sonce when does your medicare medicaid source offer you the patient money.??? Report these calls to the state ohio attorney generals office, fbi and fcc, ftc.

- CarblessThey call everyday, do not leave a message. Someone visited my home on 3 occasions in the fall Re: "Health Survey". I thought there was a HIPPA law in place for intrusions like this!
- michelleI've been called by this number so many times I have lost count! Several times a day, everyday. I'm unlisted so I love this kind of crap.
- cantakenomoreConcern for myself and others. Ohio calls from 614-721--0831. For two months I have gotten a call on my cell phone almost daily. No message was ever left. Over that period I have noticed that my phone would ring two or three times and the call would terminate. Today I answered. A woman said she was conducting a survey for the State of Ohio about health coverages and my experience with the health system in Ohio. I would receive a $10.00 gift card if I took the survey. I refused the offer because that would ultimately require the giving of some personal information on my part. Ask her not to call here again, but I doubt the scammer has any control over that.

- Edger| 1 replyGot call about 5pm claimed State of Ohio taking a survey about Health Insurance. I responded that I am not interested in doing a survey. I labeled the number as Survey, and did not answer the next 3 times they called. I think there is a way that I can program my Android to reject calls from this number
- Edger replies to Edger614-721-0831 was the number that called me 4 times.
- retiredCall me several times every week. Do not answer unknown callers. It is annoying as hell.
