I WOULD AVOID THIS SURVEY! SCAM ALERT!
Erika is calling from number 614-721-0831
Stating she is doing a Survey for Medical Insurance for the state of OHIO.
She asked for me to call her back at the 866-245-8078 number.
As I have looked up both numbers it seems the SCAM is either to obtain
your information via Health Insurance or Home Owners Insurance.
Other site another operator told she was from:

    24 Feb 2015

"non-profit survey company - R.T.I. from North Carolina and a Dept of Health and medicaid is paying her.  Was rude and will interrupt your conversation trying to guide the conversation her way. Said the 'Do Not Call list' does not apply to them.
I WOULD AVOID THIS SURVEY! SCAM ALERT!"

READ UP ON THE DO NOT CALL....IT DOES NOT MEAN ...DO NOT CALL....IT MEANS THEY WILL CALL LESS OFTEN!
IF YOU ARE REGISTERED AND KEEP UPDATING YOUR NUMBER EVERY 3MONTHS OR 6 MONTHS (WHICH EVER IT IS NOW?!)

I've been called by these people 7 times since February (it is April right now). I picked up the phone one time, and it was telling my about some insurance thing. I told them that I'm a teenager and I don't do insurance. They said sorry and I hung up. They're still calling me.

Unfortunately survey is exempt from the national do not call list.  You CAN report them if you have asked them to remove your number from their list and they still call you back.  From FTC's web site:
"If I register my number, will ALL unwanted calls stop?
No, the Do Not Call Registry prohibits sales calls. You still may receive political calls, charitable calls, debt collection calls, informational calls, and telephone survey calls.
In addition, companies may still call if you’ve recently done business with the company, or if you’ve given the company written permission to call you. However, if you ask a company not to call you again, it must honor your request. Record the date of your request"

The caller from this number made an effort to convince me that they were calling on behalf of the State of Ohio.  I believe the cal is some sort of bogus marketing scheme or an effort to solicit marketing data.  They have called numerous times even though I said I didn't want to talk to them the first time.

Calls at least once a day. Tired of it. One time they left a message about a health care survey.

i answered this call after many messages asking me to participate in a State of Ohio survey regarding health care.

while there has been progress in this area, i know that the plans aren't affordable for low-income or two-job earners.  the "bronze" plan requires individuals to be responsible for a $5,000 deductible.  on a low-income budget, that's a risk i can't take... and with the responsibilities and obligations that i have, i can't afford the "silver" plan, even with the subsidies.

the survey is about 25 minutes long.  a $10 gift card was promised, and the caller asked for my email address, but the gift card hasn't arrived in my email... yet.

the fishy aspects of the survey were 1) lack of published information on the State of Ohio website about the survey and 2) questions at the end of the call that asked about my phone service.

the caller asked these questions:  1) do i have a minute-phone?  2) did they reach me on the minute-phone? 3) do i have a landline? 4) do i have any other phone numbers?  5) did i have to pay for minutes to participate in this survey?

these questions seemed invasive and not relevant to the survey.  from a privacy perspective, i felt that they should have explained why they were asking for this information.

this company did send a gift card, two days after i completed the phone survey.

however, there isn't any current website explaining this year's survey.  and, as i previously posted, a few of the questions did not seem relevant to the information being sought.

Same as everybody,  but I lied about my county and zip-code.  Couldn't really understand her E-bonics.  I lied about everything.  Then blocked it.  I don't live far so gonna look them up and pay a visit. With the fraud patrol.
