Just received a call from this number, when I answered the caller said sorry, wrong number and hung up.  It was a woman's voice.  5:50 p.m.  It says TENNESSEE as the caller.  I live in NASHVILLE and 883 is the prefix of phones in the area of the city in which I live.  Go figure.

Had a missed call from this number today.  Caller ID say TENNESSEE and they didn't leave a message.

No reply from caller when answered.  tried to return call.  fast busy signal

I got the same as everyone else no answer when I picked up the phone. I had an incodent about a month ago. I received a call from a lady  who just tore me up one side and down the other. She said please stop calling my home I'm not interested in any credit card. after  a few moments she calmed down and told me what was going on. Here is where it really got strange. The lady said that she has received 4 calls from my phone number as me on the caller ID we verified that, I assured her that it wasn't me. Then she said these people were asking for her soc sec# and banking info,Thank God she didn't give it to them. How did they get my Phone caller Id? I called the Police and file a report. When I told the cop he was puzzled. I told him that it would only be possible if someone was working inside at Comcast who would have the ability to do this. My Phone is provided by comcast and now I've just learned that this Tenn. Number is from comcast in Tennisee It sorta makes sense. 1 other thing the lady who called me has the same phone number as me except the last number is 1 digit lower. Is there a connection. Is it possible for an employee at comcast to do this. I'd like to know. Ray D. of Indianapolis

REceive this call all the time and is very annoying!  Why can't they be stopped by the FCC?

get calls from this number 615-873-2280...caller id says Nashville TN...let the machine answer...who are they...they need to stop calling...

id says Nashville...they hung up when I answered.  It's not the first time they have called.

I got a call for this # tonight at 8:25pm a voice left a message said (answer the phone...) I got a few calls for this # this was the first time they left a message.

Calls but never leaves a message. To answer a previous person, there's a lot of spoofing numbers nowadays.  People can make it appear that its a different number they are calling from. I never answer calls when I don't know the name or number on the caller id. Spoofing should be illegal.

Call came in at 7pm.  no one on line.  Caller ID just gave number no other ID.

I am also getting that call.  Rings twice then disconnects.  Just got one a few min ago.  Yes the line is always busy if you try to call it back.

Other times I have been bombarded by fax calls.  

You'd think we'd have the right to block any calls we wish.  Why dont the phone companies have a block calls feature?
