this number called me 2 days ago and i didn't answer because i didn't know the number. i always google the numbers that call me, and i got to this website. this number has called me continuously for 2 days. seems to be about every hour. i've never answered the call until this last time. i decided to mess with them.

when they called i answered "lincoln county sheriffs department"

i heard a lot of people talking in the background, but the guy who called me said "oh my god, i have the wrong number. i'm all the way over in florida."  then he apologized. i wonder if they will call back? if they do, i will just say the same thing.

if you have verizon, you can log onto your myverizon website and block the number from there. if they continue to call i will end up doing this.

i just wish there was a better system to catch these [***], because the FTC is crap and their website and automated phone system is pathetic. doesn't surprise me though.

The woman on the phone said I was a "preferred customer" of one of their internet partners. She knew the last 4 digits of my VISA card, but didn't seem to know where I lived (she wanted me to confirm the state). She said they are mailing me $120 in gas cards, but want me to "look over" the other information enclosed because it would save me hundreds of dollars on things I already shop for. I told her she didn't know me, and I didn't know who she was. She couldn't or wouldn't tell me who the internet partner was, but did say her company was called "Vista". As others have said, it sounded like a call center - lots of background noise. I told her to send me whatever she wanted, but I wasn't buying anything or paying for anything. Then I hung up.

Got a call from this card. They had the last four digits of my credit card and said that they were from the credit card and were sending  me two target gift cards . Wanted to confirm my address and I just said can't hear you and hung up

After reading someone else's, I believe I know who has given out my number for these harassing calls! CSN stores! I purchased an item from www.allpetfurniture.com, a CSN affiliated store. I had to return the item for an exchange but they would not honor the same price so I asked for a refund. They assessed me a return fee. Do NOT order from any affiliated CSN Stores!

I started receiving phones calls last week and like the rest of you I didn't recognize the number so I wouldn't answer.  After finally finding all the information on this site I answered the phone call last night. After Elaine started giving me her spiel I told her that I hadn't ordered anything with my Visa so I don't know where she got the information. Then I told her that since one of the calls came in at 6am on a Saturday morning I knew that this was not a legitimate call center. Advised her to remove my number immediately or I would report her.  No phones call since then.

Got two calls, won $120.00 gas etc. Hung up and contacted my bank to alert and also the phone co. They advised to contact Police Dept. to put them on the alert. Company was Customer Service, 616-980-1152. Why can't these crooks get caught? Then they could get an education while in prison or jail and when they come out maybe get a real job after we have paid for the education. So much for the Do Not Call List.............

Just got a call from this number, caller ID said Customer service. Claimed to be from from Vista Marketing. They said they got my name from someone I did business with in the last 6 months, when I asked who, they said for my "own protection" they cant tell me. Lots of noise in the background, must have been one hell of a boiler room. They had the last 4 numbers of my credit card. The only time I have used that card was to buy space bags fropm an internet web site.
Nice people to give my personal information, including part or all of my credit card number.
They also said I win 125 dollars in gas cards, then I went off on them saying dont call me back, this is a scam. I am going to report you, and I dont want your fu@#$%ing gas cards.

This number keeps calling us every few hours for the past 2 days. Definatly harrasment.  Why is this okay for them to continue calling? I have picked up once and no one is there.

I just got three calls from this number.  I answered on the 3rd one in order to stop the calls. I too won a "free gas rebate" for $120 along with 2 other special promotions since I was a "preferred customer".  I got out of him that he was from Vista Promotions.  I informed him that I was on the do not call list and they better not call again.

For all we know This site is a scam too.

It says they are trying to ship me something and it gives me the option to OPT out of future calls.  And it allows you to call another phone number to speak to a representative about being removed from their call list.  I called the other number - 866-217-6866.  Did not get an answer.  definately opted out on their "do not call list"

I had this same thing before in early january, and I actually got someone on the phone and I told them to knock it off.  The lady was very apologetic and said they would take my number out, but now I am getting more calls again.  I called them today and left a message on their machine saying not to call me.  Then, I called again and hit option "2", which removes my number.  I entered my number, and then there was this eerie voice saying "thank you, goodbye".  I'm a little weirded out, but it should stop now.

harrassing amount of phone calls

Has called dozens of times and will not leave a message.

Received numerous missed calls in the past 3 days.  I picked up the call today with someone claiming they were from Vista Services.  They knew my name, last 4 digits of my Visacard Number, address.  They said I was the lucky preferred customer and they were calling about my Visacard and that I qualified for a Gas credit of $120 and would send a check out in the next few days which could be used anywhere.  Sounded like a call center with lots of noise/talking in the background.

I said customer for who?
They could say. Just that I used my card and the merchant chose me as the winner or preferred customer whatever. I said I don't know how you got my info, but if you can't tell me who gave you my card info, then I don't wanna talk to you.

They said thank you have a good night.

How did they get my card info...phishing

Just got a call on my cell phone from this number; I answered but there was no one on the other end.  Probably a continuation of the same scam.  I certainly won't waste a minute calling them back.

Rec'd call on my cell phone from this p/n and I heard a lot of voices in the background and then the call was disconnected from their end.

Received 5 calls today, no message. STOP CALLING MY cell number I am on the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY!!!!
