I called the number and hit "0", it gave me an option to press "3" to add my number to the companies "do not call list" We shall see if it works. I hope so because they call me once an hour all during the day

The say they are from Vista Services...

I did the same - had to press 2 and enter my phone #...  They said it takes 36 hours to get off their calling list.

I have had five calls in 24 hours.

I just started receiving calls from this number to my cell phone.. My husband and I did recently place an order with Vista Print for business cards. perhaps it is related. I have no good cell reception at my home so do not answer it anyway but no message is left.I hesitate to call from my landline because they'll have that # too!

They called and hung up when I answered.  When I called the number back I got a recording stating it was about a package delivery and if I didn't want to be notified again to leave my phone number.  They called me again but I missed the call and they left no message.  The recording does not tell you what company they even are.

Same here they are calling me 4 to 8 times everyday.

Although I also recently purchased an iRenw bracelet, I don’t recall giving them my cell phone number.  I may have, but I don’t know why I would have.  I should have known better anyway.  The bracelet is worthless, so I wouldn’t put it past this company to market other worthless garbage once they have your number.
It seems to me I started getting these calls on my cell when I updated to an Andorid and started downloading free apps without reading the details of what the app required access to.  I have since discovered that even the least obvious apps require way to much access to your phone and identity.  I have been deleting apps and am being very careful now what I download.  Sadly I miss some of those apps, but I had some and I've seen many that require access to your phone number and your contacts.  Unfortunately it is probably already too late for the few contacts I had, but I won't download any more free apps that require access to my cell number and contacts, and I apologize to any of my friends whose names have already sold to marketers.  Please post if you suspect this may be how your number got out.  
Right now it's just my hypothesis.  I'd be interested in knowing if anyone else suspects free phone apps as the cause of their grief.  I suppose the developers of free apps have to get money some way, but I'm going to be very cautious about allowing them to sell my name any more times.  Although the call volume from this number seems to be escalating...first once a week, then every few days and finally up to three times today alone, which is what prompted me to go on this rant.  Thank you for reading.  Surf safe and download with extreme caution.

Really 5 calls in one day!

I have received several calls from this number and never answered until today. I don't know how they got my number and info, but in response to iRenew or App Store or Android, I have none of those. Vista Services said they would send me $120 in gas certificates if I paid them $2.95 because a company I recently made a purchase from wanted me to have them. They wanted me to verify my address (they had my old address, thank goodness). I started asking questions and he kept saying "it will all be clear once you receive your package". I asked what company I made the purchase with, and they hung up on me!!!  They are full of it. I don't know how they got my name and cell phone number, but I can tell you for sure it isn't from the cell phone company or any of the things listed above, and it isn't from the bank either.

After many calls I spoke with a female who knew my first name and last 4 digits of my Visa card. She said I was entitled to receive $150 in gas cards and asked to confirm my address. When I told her I didn't recognize the number, and if she wanted to do business with me, to do it through the mail, she hung up. I haven't had any calls since. I thought it was an attempt to steal my identity.

Thank you for your information.  I ordered the bracelet also and have started getting the calls.  I followed your advice and used the prompt they offered.  We will see if the calls stop.

I suggest when you get a call answer it right away say "put me on your DO NOT CALL list (DNC)" and hang up. Once you say that by law they have to put you on the list. It will stop the calls right away!

Hanging up without saying DNC or Just ignoring the call doesn't solve the problem. Just tell them do not call me and they'll stop. It worked for me.

I received my first call from them and due to reading all these posts, I knew how to act. That's correct. I dialed their # , hit "0" and was prompted by a recording to hit 2 for DNC. It will take 36 hrs. to activate. Let's see if it works.

I got a call from this number, 616-980-1293, many tims today.  They do not leave a message.  How do I get rid of them?

I keep getting these calls too.  I looked up the number and its out of Kent, Michigan.  Sounds like the same person calling a few months ago, just different scam.  Wish they could get this person and make them stop this crap.  Tired of looking at my phone to see who is calling and then its nothing but a scam saying "order confirmation".  I haven't ordered a thing and will pick up and slam phone down next time.  Probably won't do a thing but make me feel better.....

I get called at least 5 times a day by this number. I too decided to call the number back. I got the same message about my shipment for the order I placed. The problem is, I haven't ordered anything in a couple of months. I have selected the do not call option. I hope it works but I still want to know who these people are and how they got my cell phone number.
