Number has been calling upto three times a day, leaves no message.  I answered yesterday and an indian accented male asked me to verify my address so that he could send me my health care cards.  I told him this was bogus, I already had cards, and that I was on a do not call list, so quit calling.  He began to curse me and make lewd remarks.  I hung-up and the number called back after a couple of hours.  I did not answer and it has not called today.  Maybe my problem has been solved, but this should be stopped.

I received a call from "a senior specialist with the Social Security and Medicare administration". He had the Indian accent and wanted to send me a social security check and a medicare card. I am not of age for those entitlements and asked for a call back number where I could verify who he was as he had begun asking me questions. He informed me that he was cancelling my social security check. I told him to go ahead, that it would leave more for the illegal immigrants like him!

THEY THINK WE ARE STUPID WHAT THEY DONT REALIZE IS THEY CALLED FROM THE SAME NUMBER 3 WEEKS EARLIER TELLING ME I WON FREE MAGAZINES FOR 1 YEAR AND ALL I NEEDED TO DO WAS GIVE THEM SOME PERSONAL INFO I TOLD THEM TO TAKE THE FREE STUFF THEY HAVE AND SHOVE IT!

The very first time someone called they called for my husband, it was a woman asking for him and i said this is his wife can i help you and she said no and hung up.  They called today saying that they were a fraud recovery company and that they needed to speak to my husband about some money that had been taken from his bank account and that they wanted to put it back.

Man with foreign accent claimed to be with GE, said back in March I did a survey on the phone, which I said NO, I did not, and he said many people have not remembered this.  And he said I was entered at that time to win a free GE home security system, would just need to verify somethings--1--Do we own our home?  I said we already have a security system, and he hung up!

i had received a call to night at 5:45 pm and was asked if my name was **** ands i said yes and then he told me he was call on behalf of star communication network and that  the company had gone out of business. i asked how he got my name and address he said he was given it by my visa company and i new right then and there it was a scam i don town a visa i then asked him to mail me my refund of $395.00 he said that they had to do a bank transfer . i then said to him you mail me all the info and i will have my layer look at it and then i will call him back i then hung up.

Second call from 1-617-224-0808 on December 15th 2:12 PM caller ID UNKNOWN I did not answer the phone after recognizing the number and the call stopped after the answering machine picked up and of course this lame person did not leave a message.
I called my phone service provider the first time this happened and they blocked the number, but somehow this person got around their blocking software so they are going to investigate this caller for phishing/scams and harrassment.
According to thedirectory.org this number is in Boston Mass and is a CLEC number which is a competitive local exchange carrier.

they called me and said they were from GE and that I had answered a survey and won a 1200 dollar security alarm system and if I was a home owner. They also said they would call back in 15 to 20 minutes,which they did but I did not answer this time. They left no messages on answering machine. When I tried o call back,the operatr said the number could not e completed as dialed. I then googled it and found this page.

Got 5 calls within 2 days from 617-224-0808, finally told them I got in an argument with a tel a marketer and had a heart attack and died.  They hung up but called back two days later.  Reversed trace the number and it came up Monica Reid in Boston.  Must be an internet phone company (XO Communications) Called the number and it said the number could not be reached as dialed.

Answered the phone around noon today, but sounds like it's just a computer with nothing to say.  It hasn't disconnected in a half an hour, whatever... That's what speakerphone is for. >=)

Going on 90 minutes...  About an hour into this quiet call, someone picked up the line!  I heard 7 seconds of background noise; some phones ringing & people talking, then I went back on hold.

A call from 617-224-0808 with a man of foreign accent aaking to verify my name and address, and birth date, saying that since I was a senior citizen that they were going to give me a new Identy number and I would be getting a new medical card for free medical, dentist and vision for the rest of my life. He put his supervisor on the line who ask me the name of my bank.I told him it was none of his bussiness.Then the one who called my first came back on the phone and ask what happened and if the name of my bank was a secert at which point I hung up. One of his statements was that they were calling all seniors on limited income to give then free medical.

All I have to say is that whoever is calling this # needs to stop cause it belongs to the US GOV. If they don't stop there will be penalties to him or her or the company.

my husband was called and they tried to re emburst us some money that had been suposedly stolen from our account an amount of nearly 1,000 dollars  when we askes why we hadnt been notified of this sooner or recieved somting in the mail they had a pretty convincing story and preceeded toput a manager on the phone. we almost believed seeubg how the were calling asociated with a repituble bank but when they could not send us a check for the amount i caught on. when i started asking about the BBB ant told them i was looking them up i recieved a dial tone. i star 69 them and got 617 224 0808 and called my phone company and called the boston police where they are located in hopes they trak those frrin little sob,s and put them in jail. if enough people call the boston police and report their expirence then just maybe we did our part.

I got a call from this number a few days ago and when i picked up, they hung up. Then I got another call tofay and I answered it, it was an indian man saying he was with Fraud Prevention and that something around $600 had been used in my banking account. Then he asked for my banking information. I simply hung up.

i was so angry at 10:00pm on Dec20th my phone rings from number 617-224-0808,when i answered i yelled,its 10:00pm here dont call again my kids are in bed sleeping,a man begins to say to me that some money that was stolen from me was found and he wanted to know what my account information was,i refused to give him the info and told him to mail me any information,he kept begging for this information,i asked for the manager (which sounded like the same man) i told him if he wasnt going to mail me the information then MERRY CHRISTMAS he can keep the 750.00,he then hung up on me....Today Dec21st they called me at 5:08pm from number 617-224-0808 i did not answer, the again from the same number another call came in at 6:16pm the same man on the line began asking me what my bra size was, i told him it was none of his business he kept asking over and over again, i then told him i dont wear one i have implants,he then asked me if he could fu-k me, i told him he was a sick pig, he then asked me if me and my boyfriend fu-k,i told him i was recording these calls said he knew what my address was and that he was headed to my house, the scary party was he told me exactly where I lived,he hung up on me and I immediately called the police department in my area who is doing up a report for me, I also called the phone comapny who informed me on how to trace calls and to call teh center on Monday and they will take care of this matter for me. This nasty man needs to be STOPPED, PEOPLE PLEASE BEWARE OF THIS NUMBER 617-224-0808
