Called my # asking for someone else name however got a call 12 hrs earlier from an automated system stating they were from husky health insurance from state of CT asking for same name. Wondering if first call was bs to verify if I was this person.

Collections for Liberty Mutual Ins. This is something my broker is handling and to call the day after Christmas, they could have waited till after the weekend. All this hassle for an $83.00 mistake in my favor.

It's a collection agency. I called them back and told them my number. They asked for my name. I told them that I know they're a collection agency but I just moved and got this number, I don't have any outstanding debts. He asked for my name again, I told him my first name only, and he told me they were looking for (Name). He said he would mark the number as a wrong number and I shouldn't receive any more calls. (After receiving one a day for two days so far). If you're getting calls from this number, I don't think it's a scam but a collection agency. It might be a case of the wrong number (or someone gave a company a wrong number, which ended up being yours). If you know you don't have outstanding debts, just call them back and ask to be removed. It's likely they just have the wrong number.

I have been getting calls from these scam artists about an overdue heating bill for an apartment I never lived in. Never answer for these clowns.

The call came into my newly acquired phone number in Harrisonburg, Va..  I have not had this number long enough to report the incoming call to the Do Not Call List and a DNC violation.  The call came from some kind of "credit line' for Alexa Pumphries or Humphries who was supposed to have my current phone number.  I explained that this individual was not here because I jut acquired the number.  it was a very strange call.  I hung up at 7:13 p.m..  The accent sounded similar to one which I had heard in the late 1960s/ early 1970s when I sued to live in southern New Jersey near Woodbury.  It did not impress me as a new England accent.  The call came in at 7:08 p.m.

If people would answer the phone we would know who is calling. of course they don't leave a message. Most likely  you have debt and that's why you're  ignoring  the call.

Just got a call from this number, apparently this number is still active.

I received calls for several days from this number and didn't answer. Today I answered and I asked the caller what company he was with. When I asked that, he hung up.

Try it: just ask his company and watch what he does

Or, tell him that the person is no longer at this number, which is true in my case

A few months ago I kept receiving calls from 617-581-1061. They never leave a message.  Once I answered and they asked for my husband by name. He wasn't available (really). I asked if I could take a message. They hung up on me. They've started to call again every day and no message. Blocked the number.
Researching the CCSOffice.com Caller ID on the internet says they're a collection agency, but the no voice mails and hang ups don't jive as a legit business.  Plus we don't have outstanding debts.

I just got a call from these people 617-581-1061 for my husband.  I hung up but then called back to get more info.  They were looking for a Debt collection for some electric company that MA doesn't even use.  So, they are calling everyone with the same name I guess.  He said are the last 4 digits of his SS ####?  I said nope you have the wrong person and hung up.  Unbelievable!  They don't even have the right person but will harass them anyway.

It was CCS Office not  CVS. I can't edit for some reason.
