got calls all day...wtf. i dont even have a card with discover.

They keep calling I don't know about what?  I want the calls to stop immediately

They need to be stopped.

I have been getting 5 to 8 calls a day for several months now. These calls start around *;00 in the morning and continue till about 8 in the evening...seven days a week.  I have not answered a call yet, and I will not answer any caller who will not leave a message.  If this truly is Discover Card as so many say, I have no idea why they would be calling me since my account is not delinquent, (although the incessant calling almost tempts me to stop paying them out of spite...)
I found a simple solution:  Any caller from an unfamiliar area code who is not civil enough to leave a message gets their phone number added to my "Auto Reject" list on my cell phone after their third call.
Now all I see is the phone number and a list of the number of times they called, but my phone never rings. I can live with that.
My next mission is to see if there is a way to leave a message for any Auto Rejected callers....I have some doozies in mind!

Got a call from this number on my unlisted cell phone number, left a message saying "This is Chet, it's urgent that you call me back regarding a personal business matter", no mention of the company he worked for or what this personal business matter might be. he left a different number to call him back 800-347-3109.

After reading this thread, since I do not own a discover card, so I deleted the voicemail. Hopefully they will give up trying to scam me.

keeps calling, never leaves a message, we don't answer, I called DISCOVER (as it appeared that way on caller ID ) they said it had nothing to do with them (gave them the number on the caller id) THIS IS FRAUD. DO NOT PROVIDE ANY INFORMATION TO THIS CALLER. IT CLAIMS TO BE DISCOVER BUT IT IS NOT.

They continuously called me and left two messages saying they were from discover, out of the 9 times they called. When I finally called back they instantly asked for my 16 digit account number and then my full social security number when I couldn't provide the account number.
When I would not give that they took my address and transferred me. Something finally clicked to me that this may not be legitimate and I hung up.
Be careful with this number.
