Just got two calls from them today (7 Sep 2012). Called back, phone line was engaged.

Got a call from this number but when picked up, the person just went silent and hung up. Called back, line was engaged

63099050 - is a line from ACE Insurance based on a check on www.yellowpages.com.sg.
Kept getting calls from this number. Did a check on internet and realised its from ACE. Have added them to my blocked list.

Still getting missed call from this number. Could not find who is the idiot behind it. Engaged tone when call back. Just ignore it.

if is confirm ACE insurance, we shall write in to complain,

I had received numerous calls from this number since last week. I returned the call once as afraid it would be urgent but it was silent.

Wondering how to lodge a complain.

Called me every single day. Until once I picked up and told them not to call me anymore. Too piss. It's from ACE Insurance Company. Irritating

I tried to call this number during the day and it was engaged. I tried to call at mid night it was also engaged. I
m wondering who is this person keep using this phone to disturb people?

didnt pickup. As most of us are smartphone users, you can dl call blocker app and input this irritating number into block list

The caller from 63099050 is a telemarketer who claims to be from Ace Insurance, the 'insurance partner of Citibank".

it is Ace insurance on behalf of Citibank.

I've got this number a couple times today. called back and ended without ringing tone.  Frustrating but thanks to this site, I knew it's marketing call, now I don bother to return call already, since it's unimportance.

I got called 6 times for the past 2 weeks, 4 of which are missed calls, and the last 2 times, I refused to answer as I know it is from ACE Insurance. I emailed ACE Insurance Customer Service with the title Stop harassing me. This was their reply:

Thank you for your email to ACE Insurance dated 16 January 2013.
I understand the trouble and want to assure you that this won’t happen again.
In relation to your concern, please be advised that we've already forwarded your request to the relevant department.
We value our policyholders and appreciate your feedback, as it helps to improve our service standard.

I got that too.  5 missed calls.  And then when I picked up, this mysterious person ask if my name was such and such.  I replied "how may I help you?" and this person cut off the line.  Very annoyed and had called Singtel to complaint on this number.

2 ways to ignore
1) For smart phone users, download a number blocker software, next time call, block it and select hang up. Wont even ring
2) For non smart phone users, register with DONOTCALL registry google for it, its in effect since Jan1 2014, for those still living heads in clouds

* Got this number yesterday and today. Didnt take note yesterday whether was this number, The moment it rang, I picked up and nobody on that line. Today I purposely rang back and the person knows my name (but get this) say he called wrong number and apologise. I suspect its a call service that citibank or whoever the company engaged to sell their products. They didnt check the DNC list and call, then realised my number is listed under DNC, quickly hanged up. Today, coz I called back, the staff quickly apologised b4 I realised where he is from and made a formal police complaint

YES guys if ur number is listed in DNC u can make police report and that company/person can get blacklisted and fine!
I meant if really make mistake, then why this person knows my name, but say call wrong number? I dont store this person's num so it meant I dont know this person.

They are just staff working at call center, everyday got a list to call, they know the drill that if number on DNC cant call, In fact DNC supposed to protect u and u shld not get the call even/sms, but somehow its going thru! I understand from my sis (who works for a real estate agent) that when u call someone on DNC ur call wont get thru. I am not sure whether DNC will flagged this number as registered, coz if it does it defeats the purpose of DNC. I meant u register ur number with DNC so that u dont get marketing calls right? So if DNC flagged ur number and they can check ur number whether listed in DNC, then there is no longer privacy here, I mean if I can check DNC, wont I see a number that happen belong to u?

Anyhoos, register ur mobile with DNC and if u still get this number bar it! I deleted this joker but next round I will blacklist it with my number blocker software. Thank God for smart phones!
