This number is supposedly Big Brothers and Big Sisters. They did not leave a message. They called my cell phone number. How they got it is a mystery.

Big Brothers Big Sisters.  They didn't leave a message so I called them back.  I asked them to take my number off their calling list.  I gave them my number, then they asked my name and address.  I wouldn't give it to them.  Asked them to just take my number off the list.

Big Brothers & Big Sisters called twice today. I am not sure what its about, but when I answered, it sounded like the hung up.

They are affiliated with Savers, so if you filled anything out at that store to receive notifications on sales or promotions, most likely your info got fowarded.

Today I received three early morning calls within five minutes from this number.  When I picked up during the third all, no one was on the line.

This has been going on for about five days.

From other commments, the calls seem to be coming from Big Brothers/Big Sisters.

Received calls from Big Brothers and Sisters also. Several Times. Called back and asked for Supervisor. Informed him that my numbers were on the do not call registry and it was illegal for them to call. I have donated to Big Brothers and sisters in the past. Informed him that I had spoken with others who had
received calls that planned to lodge a complaint and that he should check the do not call registry before
having his operators call. Informed him that stiff fines would be imposed if it continued and complaints were lodged.I checked the Big Brothers an Sisters website and 631-234-0000 is indeed the
number for Big Brothers and Sisters. Said he did not know where they received their call list from but
he would look into it. It's a wonderful organization, however, they need to follow the law.

It is not actually illegal for themn to call since they are a charity. Charites and political calls are exempt ffrom the Do Not Call registry

this number called I did not pick up and my phone stopped working

One time someone did speak to me and asked me was my address a certain address. I told them that was not my address and they said "okay we'll take your name off the list".  They still keep calling me.  I don't know who this is but I'm about to get the authorities involved.

This number called me several times. No msg left. I'm on do not call list. Don't even badger to call them back or pick up the phone.

They call and call and call. No message. They totally disregard the DNC list. Government is a toothless tiger and does nothing to put the clamps on these law-breaking organizations.

This call is from Big Brothers Big Sisters.  They are allowed to call you, as are all charities and political telemarketers.  They are exempt from DO NOT CALL registry.  It would be nice, however, if they would only call once or twice at the most; not continuously over and over.  The problem is that phone numbers are computerized in their system, and the computer will go back to all unanswered calls.

Call came in in the middle of the night and woke a 93 year old woman.  Not nice.

We have received numerous (as in too many calls) from this number. Thankfully, my caller ID phone has a function that allows me to block unwanted numbers. So now, when they call, the phone rings once, and the robocaller gets a busy signal.

I continually get calls from this number and nobody talks when I answer the call.  They never leave messages. When is somebody going to stop these annoying calls. I googled the number(631-234-0000) and supposedly it is from Big Brothers and Sisters. Now I wouldn't ever consider donating to that organization.

They want you donate things,you do it once, they' ll keep colling periodically,

Please be advised that i have been receiving calls on numerous ocassions from BBBSLI 631-234-0000? For what I do not know? I would like for them to STOP calling me !!!!!! I would like them investigated immediately as they are harassing me. This is a first and final warning STOP CALLING!!!

I usually don't pick up Private, Unavailable or 800.  This call showed  BBBSLI 631-234-0000.
I picked up the call.  The lady ask me if I have clothing for donation.  If I have they will come to pick up.
