Called 631-277-7000 spoke to an actual person and asked to be removed from the call list. We'll see what happens. They are calling 2 - 3 times a day.

Keep getting the calls, never any answer other than one time a voice, sounded
something like a lady, could have been a man speaking softly, said it was for a survey about politicians....   probably someone looking for obamas mama, but
she is living in nawleans now, so they should be able to find her....

We get calls from (631)277-7025 every day sometimes twice a day.  They never leave a message.  The calls started about a week ago.  It's very annoying!!!
I'm on the Do not call list but it doesn't help.

I called their corporate number and asked them to remove my number. Don't even know how they got it in the first place as it is my cell and the number is not posted anywhere. As for the 'health survey' I honestly wouldn't trust that. Would that many counties really be having health surveys at the same time?

I've received several calls from this number this past weekend (on both Saturday and Sunday!) and now Monday evening.  Each time I've told them I am not interested and to add me to the do not call list but I continue to receive calls.  When someone has to start the call with "I'm not selling anything" it puts you on guard immediately - they know you don't want to receive this unsolicited call and then they just hang up on you once they realize you're not interested and may be looking for more information about who they are - so rude!

Since they are not telemarketers the Federal DNC list does not apply. You will need to call them at 1-800-645-9850 and specifically ask them to take your number out of their Do Not Call System

Said they were doing a survey for National Grid. Wanted to know why we changed our heating from oil, to gas, whether we still had our oil tank and other stupid questions. When they wanted to know who we bought our heating oil from, thats when we hung up.

Getting calls from this number on my home phone which is an unlisted #

Have suddenly been getting calls in the evenings three nights in a row from this #.  I have a non-published # and no idea how they got my number.  Found another post online about this same # and called (631) 277-7000. Got an actual person and told them to stop calling.  Gave them my # and no other information. We'll see....

Yep. I started getting phone calls from this # as well. Couple times a day, no vm left.. I choose not to answer.

The reason you get the calls is that you do business with a company and have agreed in some way shape form or fashion to be contacted by companies that are allied with their corporate sponsor.You have given the cell number to some company(Amex) and now they have passed it along.
On the flip side ,some of the medical surveys pay or have an incentive so in these hard times weigh your abusive behavior to the telephone interviewer  carefully.
Trust me I did this for 3 years and you can curse holler and scream all you like.You gave permission for these folks to call by saying yes online or to some give away from their corporate clients and/or sponsors.

I did an anonymous call back to this #, a woman answered, I asked her if the number was hers, guess what? She replied that that was not the # ?*%$#@!

I am getting calls from this same number and on my cell phone. I have not answered one of the calls yet, and no messages are left.

They are calling me every day after I answered once and told them they are calling my cell phone and not to call anymore.

I'm also in Arizona.

I would like to know how the [***] these people got my number when it's unlisted.

So, if Mktg, Inc., values my opinion so much, then why aren't they paying me for it? By calling and asking for it for free, they are opening the door for my verbally abusive response.

I would like to conduct my own market research using the following three questions:

-As an educated person, would you not agree that a person who has deliberately listed himself with the National Do Not Call Registry would not wish to receive unsolicited calls from ANY business?

-Would you not also agree that, regardless of the legality of the calls made as "market research", persons so registered would find any such calls intrusive and unwelcome?

-Would you not further agree that excluding persons so registered would result in a survey sample more receptive to participation, thus improving the efficiency and reliability of the survey effort?

I wonder how he would answer, if I called him? I am sure he wouldn't mind speaking with me, since that is the nature of his business, after all.
