When I answered I received a recorded message about crime rates and how they could install a security system. I stayed on the line to talk to one of these losers and when I said I was on the DNC list he hung up. I called the number back and got the usual not in service.

The best way I've found to mess with these idiots is to answer the phone and say "911, What is your emergency?"

Phone rang. Caller I.D said "New York" 631-482-3381. Did not pick up. Call went to answering machine, but no message left.

Was just called by this number. The recording was offering an alarm system with free medical alert.

They always call me about a home security system Robo call and everytime I press one to speak to an operator or in my words give them hell theyre too scared to connect me to someone because they always hang up on me they are a bunch of [***] who are Afraid of a little confrontation man up you sons of [***] and speak to me it's not that hard

Got this call this evening. First thing they said was "don't hang up."  I did, of course.

I've been getting calls from these SOBs twice daily and usually more. Caller ID says it's from Babylon, New York.  When I call the number I get this weird woman's voice that something like "........database" and disconnects.   I'm on the federal 'do not call list' list and have reported them but to no avail.

They are now selling security systems.

robo telemarketer telling me not to hang up. LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG yackity yack about a free GE security system...as long as you pay for installation and monthly fee. I called back and got recording saying number not in their database. This is a low life who seems to  call the over 60 crowd every other day. Want ed to tell him to kiss my wrinkled  old cellulite covered butt. The recording just goes on and on and on so I hung up.

while I agree these are low life scam artists, your name calling is unnecessary  and offensive

The recorded robo call said "there has been increased crime in our area' and we needed a security system

I got the same call but Ihung up before I listened to the entire message.

call 6 times in the last week no message left

Received call from this number---did not answer and no message was left on answering machine.  Thanks for the comments--will not answer if I receive another call.

they are taking over my pc, they are calling to my house and when i called them to inquiry they hang up

Called today – Caller ID says Babylon NY. They left a message saying I am in an area of rising crime and I qualify for a free wireless home security system at no cost to me that is monitored by police fire and medical. Really?? What company is going to give you a free security system? I called back and the voice system says the company name is Impact marketing.

Recorded message saying it was not a sales call, then started in on "crime in your area has increased" blah, blah, you have been selected...

It's a marketing call for some kind of alarm system OR they are looking for gullible people to give out information over the phone so they can rob you.Says it is from Babylon, NY, no ID.

Caller id read Babylon, which I think it not true.  I listen to recording and hung up.  The recording was about a free security system.  The robo said I was being offered this because either there had been a rise in crime in my neighborhood or a neighbor had recommended me.  I'm 99.99 percent sure that this isn't true.  I tried to call the number back and couldn't get any thing, just blank.  No busy signal or ring.  I've never asked about a security system and have always told callers and door-to-door salesmen that I'm not interested.  I googled Babylon Security Systems and nothing showed up.  I googled the caller's number and found many complaints, although not all involved selling security systems.  This number must be used by several telemarketers involved in lies and scams.

I filed my usual complaints with FCC, FTC, and state attorney general's office but don't expect anything.
