I got a message to From kinky0909...what the hell?? It said that they got my number from a friend of mine and that they are kinda shy so I should check them out on line? I thought my ex was trying to set me up so I messaged back which friend? and who are they? I never got a reply but the whole thing stunk of scam! What the hell why aren't our numbers safe?? Telus needs to fix this!

I just got a text message from pony_Angel2004.  I have no idea who it is but said I could find out be going to matchclub.org.  That led to nothing.  Why do I get ext messages when I have given my number only to family?  And the number is listed on the do not call list.

People!!! Please think a little.  If anyone sends you an text from Verizon.com or Tmobile.com for example, you get a 5000 as the response.  Its usually a random number but Tmobile I know is 5000.  Anyways, nothing you can do except if it keeps happening change your phone number.

just received one two of those "I got your number from a friend..." text messages - shows up as 5000 - arg, so annoying. My husband received them on his phone yesterday! Aarg!

I got the same msg about as the ones above about i got ur number from a friend, only this one was from iluv2techuboiii.matchclub.org    I want to know how they got my number & i do not appreciate it.  it's pretty creepy.
