I received a text from pony_angel2004 who said she got me number from a friend.  This is all I need is crap on my phone.  Hence why I don't give my phone number out to anyone but family and friends. So whoever this is, I am not amused.

i just got this message (2 text messages):  "juliejewel/ hey, I got your number from a friend of mine, but I bet you can't guess who I am!  My username's Juliejewel, if u wanna come see if you recognize me online, at juliejewel.datinghop.org.  Well, hope to see you soon!"

My # is on the do not call/text list so I could sue because of that text.  I just called Tmobile since the number "5000" is their sites text messaging service.  They claim they are unaware of this and to just test "STOP" back to that number.  WTF!!!

I recieved a similar message.  It stated that the person was little_morgoth2007 and to go to matchclub.org.  Use caution.

Why would someone randomly text people this message?  I hate it when people do this and its creepy.

i'm really mad yesturday i got a text message from someone, but they didn't leave there name. at first, i thought it was one of my friends at my old school who i haven't seen for a while but i called and she said she didn't. the message is split in two it says "Hey i got ur muba from a friend of mine, but i bet you can't guess who i am!My username's ribibaby69, if you"(then the other text says)"Ribibaby69/ wanna come see if you recognize me onlin, at ribibaby69.datehop.net well hope to see you soon!" the text appears as 5000 and has no name. And i don't think dis is right, my service is t-mobile. and i don't think its right that now i have to change my number because some dum a*S has nothing better to do than call random numbers. and if the person who is doing this prank is reading this message all i got to say is "go touch ur A$$ or something and st0p texting my phone.

I got the same text that all of you got and it lead me to the same dating site. How can this be stopped? Can we get the police involved?

Iwas going through my husband's phone and saw a message from "clubbingchicka" saying that she got my husband's # from a friend of his & that he probably will remember her once he saw the picture.  I was so upset because I though one of his friends was trying to hook him up with a girl but now I see wat's is going on.   If it wasn't for the other comments, this would have been a big fight.  The message came from 5000 but no phone #.

I am so pissed off because i received 2 text messages from crazycasey33 now I rarely text so I don't have an unlimited texting plan and each text costs me 15 cents! omg

I got a text message from a fake phone number (5000).  The message was in two parts and  was from recreare.date-only.com.  That website takes you to another website, friendjungle.com.  It wants you to make a password to access it so it can send information to your email.  The first message said,"Hey, I got your number from a friend of mine, but I bet you can't guess who I am!"  My username's recreare, if you    The 2nd message said,  " wanna come see if you recognize me online, at recreare.date-only.com  Well, hope to see you soon! " I only give my number to family and a few close friends and thought the message seemed odd, even I am single.  Could be a scam or a way for someone to hack into your computer.

I got same messages as Guy in SLC and Unhappy Fido, and it said the phone number was 5000 (see also Guy's comment, above). The message said "amyvina / Hey, I got your number from a friend of mine, but I bet you can't guess who I am! My username's amyvina.matchclub.org." Then a 2nd message (again, same as Guy in SLC and Unhappy Fido, above) that said, "amyvina/ wanna come see if you recognize me online, at amyvina.matchclub.org. Well, hope to see you soon!" I don't know what it's about, but it's irritating.  I try to keep my number private, and it is on the "Do Not Call" list.  As such, perhaps I can get a fine out of "amyvina"?  I just recently joined "PoliceAuctions.com" and wonder if it somehow has a connection.

Just got a text from 5000.  The username was fiesta_vixen.datehop.net.  How did they get my number?  Was it from a third party list or are people employed to do this to their friends?

I got two text messages tonight that came from 5000 and said:

Got the same test from 5000 - from pony_angel2004 but it was directing me to .date-arcade.org.  Of course we have to pay so it's probably something internal with T-Mobile since they won't do anything about it.  I'm on do not call list as well.  Should be illegal!
