i got this text message send to my phone from this number :5000
it said " hey i got your # from a friend of mine but i bet you cant guess who Iam! blah blah and told me to go to matchpit.com
I have tmobile, i've heard that alot of people have been gettting these messages is it just a spam?

I actually had the same problem. NO its not a spam message its actually someone who's been texting you through the tmobile website. If you go to www.tmobile.com and click on service & accessories, click on messages and on the right itll say "send a text msg". Anyone can send you a msg, and you cant find out who its from unless you take it to the police if its that bad. They'll just put a random number down, so if you get a number attached to it. Its probably not theirs unless there that stupid. I already talked to tmobile customer care and thats what they gave me. Hope this helps.

Just got same type of txt msg here too. Also T-Mobile. I think this person should be reverse dns'd or reverse lookup and be reported to the feds. Hacking is a federal offense last I knew! This [***] fer brains just made t-mobile a crap load of text msg money, maybe we should all file a class action law suite against t-mobile if they wont re-imburse us for the text charges??? I haven't given my number to anyone but friends. Its on facebook but I've blocked my profile from everyone but my friends. Here's assuming adding applications that can access all your facebook profile info is helping scammers create call lists of cell phones etc.
