I will not answer the phone.

We have been getting calls from 646-453-1349 and I took the advice of others here and called 212-260-0070 and asked to be placed on their do not call list so I hope it works. We are in Hawaii and the calls usually come during our dinner hour or just as we are getting into bed!!! When we have answered no one ever is on the other side!

just a heads up, this call is a market research call NOT a telemarketer. Do not call registry exempts research. They're not selling anything, they're doing a survey.

Nuisance call...no response on call back, just a busy signal. GRR!

Also receive calls from 646-453-1349.  Thanks for this information....just called (also blocked my number with *67 before dialing) and had them remove my number from their list.  The woman was very nice.  I explained I have been receiving calls and no one speaks on the other end.  I then asked her who is calling from this number.  She explained they are a central marketing firm for politics.  Anyhoooo, thanks again....one less annoying call to be had.

8/6/10 As an earlier poster suggested, I called Central Marketing at 212-260-0070 and asked them if they made calls from 646-453-1349 (which called tonight with a 3-ring hangup). He said they did, and said they would remove me from their list immediately. He answered promptly and courteously.

Got a call, no message. Will try calling them to find out whocrhey are. Will use unlisted number of course.

Don't kid yourself. These folks are collecting informsation as part of a collection effort.

They keep calling. No one on the line. What a pain the @@@.

646453-1349called me twice in the past hour.  No voice, just "click" and it disconnects.

646-453-1349 has called me many times, but no one there. Most recent call was 8/21/2010, 6:55PM EDT. Tried to return the call, but always busy - I suppose bugging other people!

just got called from this number (646) 453-1349 too.. at 10 pm on the East coast side.. called back with busy signal.  Glad to find this number was online and people were getting pissed off.. just like me.. it's 8/25/2010..

I have gotten at least 3 call last night and 2 tonight.  I finally spoke to rude person with a heavy accent and she claimed she was doing a survey. I told her I would not take the survey and she hung up.  I have since gotten 2 more hang ups

3 calls from the 646-453-1349 tonight. No message first call. Second call person identified themselves as wanting to give me a survey - I said I dont do surveys because I dont wantthese type of calls and to please remove me from list. Nothing on the other end was my reply. It's now 9:28 PM and third call came in. Found these posts and called the 212-260-0070 number to see if they had a recording. To my shock there was a live person - who politely took my number for a remove list. Crossing fingers this works.

This person keeps calling me & won't speak, but remains on the line for several seconds & then hangs up on me. It's the 3rd time today. I WANT IT TO STOP!

This # shows up on our caller ID 3-4 times each day.  So I finally called the #, and the lady answering identified the company as the Corps of Engineers!  What's with the 212 # you're all talking about?

Been receving multiple calls from this number and caller ID says New York NY.    they never leave message, we are on do not call list.
