They'be been calling for the past 7 weeks sometimes twice a day, today I decided to answer it, the women on the other end announced herself being from optima communications international on behalf of scotia bank, and I'm a valued custom.  I asked her if she worked for scotia bank, her answer was no, asked how she got my info, response "from scotia bank"
WHO THE F......K GIVES SCOTIA BANK THE RIGHT TO PASS MY INFO OUT, THIS NOW BECOMES A BREECH OF TRUST AND SECURITY
First stop is my branch to blast them and then to BBB to file the complant
I recommend any who gets calls from them to do same

I have just got call from 647-288-3808. It says to cover life insurance plan from Scotia Bank. Is this true ?

Won't make any difference. CIBC and RBC have both called me for [***] like that.

The first time they called me there was no one there so I hung up. Second time I was asked repeatedly to stay on the line while they connect me to the caller. After half a minute I hung up. They've been calling steadily since yesterday.  If they call again I'll tell them off.  If they call again after that, I will go to the bank and let them know. They might not even know this is happening.

Third time this month that I have gotten this call from an Ontario number (I live in NB).  I never answer, and I only just got my new cell phone number less than 2 months ago.

Answered once. Told Scotia I wasn't interested in any insurance or in taking their "survey". Nevertheless, the status on my cell phone indicates that this number has now called enough times to log 3 hours, 2 minutes and 51 seconds. And I only answered once. Meaning the rest of the time is just ringing.  And ringing.

Unbelievable.  

They called me today on my cell asking for my husband who is at work and kept bugging if they could call back tonight when I said not hey asked about every other day in the week. This is going to be an interesting week since we work opposite shifts!

I don't answer because it outs outside of my province which is Newfoundland,  they call 2 or 3 times a month.

They have called twice no voicemail and did not answer when we called the number back. they say theyre calling on behalf of Scotia life financial

This company is annoying and rude, we don't have privacy anymore, keep calling. Tried to block my home phone then calling again my cell. The police don't do anything if you complain. Some they introduce themselves as CRA or from tax office they are all scam.

They called me as well and I answered it, they were offering $5000 for free for insurance or something I thought it was a scam so I hung up. Who knows!
