I've gotten two calls the last 2 days from this number claiming to be a company working on behalf of TD offering credit reports.  I told him not interested since it was suspicious and they called again today  but I did not pick up.

Have been receiving calls numerous xs thru the day - I have answered it and not said anything and the caller does not respond,  They just called this pm - answered it this time and spoke - male came on asking for my husband - asked who was calling he would not respond.  Told caller if he can't id himself not to call again and I have already reported this number.  I have tried to call it back and it is always a busy signal

This phone number called many times in the morning and evening. I usually don't pick it up, however, it is no annoying keeping calling so I answered the call, but there is no one at the other end. I believe this is a scam.

Some guy from TD bank wanting to sell me the Credit Alert service

I let these calls go straight to my voicemail... That same number only seems to call me after I go into a TD branch...If I dont go into the bank I don't get that number calling me..

This is indeed a phishing scam and the perpetrators   data-mined the StatsCan recent Census survey information and are actively targeting people. Just goes to show how interconnected the Banking Cabal and government agencies are. Now if you've filled out an online Employment Insurance claim recentlyyou would have noticed that there is an option to sign in to your service Canada account through a "sign-in partner" which are all financial institutions. Those of us awake enough to see the big picture know that banks and Govt. institutions teaming up is a harbinger which indicates that Orwell's 1984 was an operations manual, not a science fiction novel. Much worse to come as they will attempt to make Canada a cashless society; our so called leaders are beholden to financial and corporate interests, and give zero [***] about the taxpayers that unwittingly permit parasites like them to usurp our privacy rights through co-opting and subverting legit government social programs. Stay vigilant don't answer calls from unknown numbers and block all calls and voicemail from reaching you.

I answer the call and it was a guy named Brian from TD. He asked for my information and I was confused by thinking why he was asking me these questions. I asked 'Is this from TD or something different?' he said 'We have troubles to understand each other, thank you.' and hang up. it's a scam.

just got a call from this number asking me if i am XXX, and i said yes. Soon i realized it's a scam, and i said nothing then. At the end of the call, a men named Brian said he is calling from TD and nothing emergent. and it was hung up. Hope nothing bad happen!

I received a phone call from this #.  It disconnected right away.

This guy "Brian" called me as well asking if it was ok to record our conversation.  When I asked what company he represents he hung up.
There are multiple people on the call, phishy indeed....

Receive every day few calls from this number. They hit my voicemail and live stupid messages like "are you there, hello, I cannot hear you"

it might be a skip tracer. if they ask for your name they're maybe trying to see if its you they want for collections

I've done a lot of research today. Bottom line is: yes, it is TD telemarketing department and they would connect you then to the business called Credit Alert at http://www.mycreditalert.ca/
Credit alert had my name and wanted to confirm my address. Here's disturbing part -  TD bank is sharing clients personal info with third parties. The guy I spoke to at the bank did not know if Credit alert is their company or not. Call TD bank and tell them to mark you off their telemarketing calls list as well as off the list to share your personal information.
