this number has also been calling me often but never leaving a msg..decided to google it tonight and found this page...not cool!! thought i'd add to the list of beware comments:)

My aunt got a call from this number and she said they told her that I died, then asked for my phone number!

We have been receiving this call several times a day for the past few weeks. Caller ID states it is a "private call." Never leaves a message and, of course, we never pick up the phone on such calls.

Thank the deities for anonymous voip services.

I got a call from this number asking about my mother. Butchered her name so i did not even know who he was asking for. said he was calling for NCO and wanted to talk to ----. well since i did not understand i had to hang up. looked up the number on google and came across this posting.

I've been getting calls from this number on my cellphone for MONTHS now. No one ever answers when I say hello. I have started to click the "answer" button and just let the line linger. Let THEM pick up the long distance charges.

The same thing happened to me just now.

Proof of phishing! The celphone I have is a business extension. Any one of 13 drivers might have this cel on any particular day. I did not answer. The caller is obviousley dialing randomly (what used to be called "war dialing" in the days of modem hackers.
I think they'll just pitch their "bull" to anyone that answers. DO NOT FALL FOR IT!

Did not answer it but, I want them to not call me again.  What happened to the "do not call list" that I signed up for?

calls my cell number several times a day...never leaves a message and ticks me off to no end...tried blocking number but they call from a different dialer to bypass the blocking...

They call my cell and my parents home. its annoying. today they called with 011 in front of the number. and they call morning noon and night. its annoying!!!

Called for the first time today and didnt leave a message. from 650-230-1968 - private number google'd it and wa-la.  I will tell them that they can pound sand next time they call.  I like to mess with people like this.  I will give them some bogus info too

Recd call from this number looking for a friend.  Caller was a female with a foreign accent. She was polite in letting me know that it was of an urgent matter that she reached my friend about a financial situation.  I told her I wouldn't give her my friends info although I myself hadn't heard from her for weeks but would be glad to relay a message.  She left a 1-866 number.

They called asking for my brother and knew my name. She said he had an important business account and needed to reach him and that he listed my number as a way to reach him. I told her if the account was important enough, they would have his number and could call him direct. She asked if I would give him her number and I told her no. How in the heck do they have my cell, my name, my brother's name, etc? This number has called me every day for like a month. I am reporting them.

Someone with broken English called my cell asking for someone I did not know so I told him he had the wrong number. He then wanted to know if the persons he asked for lived in my household or I knew of them and I again told him I didn't know them and he had the wrong number. He then said something about the phone call being recorded but I didn't give him time to finish as I hung up.

They call me every day sometimes twice a day.  I do not pick up the phone to numbers I don't recognize.  Too many bad experiences with telemarketer's.  They will not leave me alone and I never answer.  How can I get them to STOP CALLING!
