Been getting calls daily for weeks. I don't answer the phone if I do not recognize the number or name.  I finally called them back and the the gentleman from some financial services company said he was wanting to talk to someone who had rented a room from me about 10 years ago. I think she has outstanding loans. I told him I did not know where the person was and asked him to remove my number and address from his system. He was very polite and said it could take up to 24 hours to remove my info from his system.

They just called. Looking for someone I've never heard of. I've had this number for over 10 years

Same here.  Get called just about every evening at 5:30pm EST.  Caller ID lists it as "MT VIEW CA"  1-650-230-1968.  I never answer, and they never leave a message.

Keeps calling

Saw I missed a call - Checked caller ID and saw this number. I'm on do not call registry - this is supoosed to include calls from these folks! Quit calling!!!

Someone saying his name is Peter, with an Indian accent, trying to get information about someone who dosen't live here regarding some reference.

got a call from " mountain view ca."  also got one from "tata comunications"
both a couple days apart, but both were from the same phone #

gogled tata comunications they are a world wide comunications provider...supposedly

when in doubt use the power of gooogle....u b suprised what u can find out.

I get a daily call from this number and I refuse to answer it.  They Never leave a message.
My caller ID says "TATA Communications" and the phone number of "650-2301968".  I have no credit issues, so either they are trying to contact my son's very EX wife, or they are fishing for financial information..........sure feels like a SCAM to me!!  I also read somewhere that if you answer these unknown calls, it registers in their system when people are home and programs their auto dial to call at that time every day.  Sure seems to be true based on other unknown calls that I have answered, and notice that the calls come in at that same time each day.

Great idea!!  I think I will use your idea the next time they call!!  :-)

I hung up the phone guessing it was a debt collection agency & a google search proved me tho be right.  There was a second call placed within five minutes from 650-230-1968

all Debt Collector Harassment needs to be stopped by a ear drum shattering sound that can be activated from any phone that receives these types of calls...

They get you information by online resumes, be careful what information you put on your resume

This company is NCO.  The are a debt collection company.  They have many phone #'s. They will call and keep calling until they have the debt they are trying to collect.  If you call them back you can listen the the answering machine. It will connect you with a person at some point so don't wait too long unless you actually want to talk to someone..

Just answer the phone "Dominos pizza.  May I take your order." Or use some buisness name. They will leave you alone.. LOL

Just got a call from this number with the + in front of it. The phone company told me in the past that this indicates an international call. No message left by them. I have no idea who it is and I will block the number.

Most phone companies have phone number blocking features already available to you.  I have Time-Warner for cable, internet and phone.  I can block phone numbers like this directly from my phone (which I did, because they keep calling me, too.

My caller ID shows the phone number as belonging to TATA Communications.  Funny thing, TATA Comms. is an Indian (the country) comm. services provider (phone, internet, etc).  Strange...

I have been getting this call to, many times. I know it takes  them a long time to get, those war crimminals but why can't they get these A/HOLES, with all the HI tech stuff we have now. They just don't want to.
They are already ease dropping on our cel phnes, but they can't get these A/Holes.
Some of the ones that get this messageor any message with a long distance call, just type it into your browser ) the phone #, and it will tell you who it is or click on the # and call it back but say nothing.

recieved a call at work about updating my personal information on my student loans.....don't give them anything!!!!
