Man saying "hello Grandma, this is your oldest grandson."  When I asked him name he hung up.

Got a call from my "oldest grandson" Was suspicious since I am "Baba" to my grandchildren, NOT "grandma". Same story as many of the other posts... 'In the Dominican Republic for a friends wedding, taxi driver got pulled over, drugs found in trunk, released from police station, at the embassy". I expressed condolences that he would not be home for his birthday and asked him if it was on the 29th or 30th. Phone went dead. My oldest grandson, lives in Bolinas, CA and is a senior in HS.

Person called . Said "Hi grandpa"  I asked who is calling? He said It's your oldest grandson.  I replied that I had no grandsons. He hung up.
Obviously its a scammer ..trying to get someone to wire him money

he said hi grampa { which i am not}     but i said oh hi ,  he said how are you , did the fam tell you i was out of town , i said no , are you ok do you need said help , which threw off his whole plan .. lol  then  he said what makes you say that , and i said cause a lot of scams are goin around like that , then he hung up ....   lol   i just like screwing with them ........ lol
