Aparently, from eveything ive read so far in the messages here, it can be any government office ranging from career services center to the jail house. I received the call from this number today and missed it. There was no message so I went online to look up the number. A few minutes ago,  as I was reading the postings in this forum I decided to look threw my phone to see if that number has called before and I had answered it. Sure enough, it was my daughter counseling case manager.

Guy said he was from the accessors office telling me  that I paid too much for my house compared to other house costs in the area and asked if I had a personal relationship with the person I bought the house from, which I don't. Once I told him there were quite a few upgrades on the house he swiftly moved to stating that I owed almost $900 in taxes and that it was due today and what a coincidence that he happened to look at that paperwork and good thing he called or it would go up $100 if it wasn't paid today. I have a really good feeling this is a scam.

This number is from the Kern Patriot Project. They work with Vets and local businesses in Bakersfield and Kern County to help Veterans gain employment.

Got a call from this number, I believe she said Kern County Superior Court, or courthouse. Said she was looking for someone she had taken down this number for, somebody i have never heard of, and i've had this number for like 6 years.

I got a call today from a lady stated that she had a missed call from me. I knew I didn't call this number and told her the same thing. She then said well I didn't pick up because I wasn't sure if it was a telemarketer or someone trying to sell something. She then stated her name and then asked for mine.  Once I looked in my phone history I saw that I had NEVER called this number before. So I called it and its a kern county number that could not receive calls. Something isn't right. Why would she say she had a missed call from me if that number can't even receive calls?

Doesn't really matter. If no message was left it was NOT important. Block the caller.

I work for the Hennepin County Library system in Minneapolis, MN.  A man called our reference service from this number saying he was a police officer and had a set of keys with someone's library card on it.  He wanted me to look up the person's phone number so he could call and tell them he had their keys.  I said we are prohibited from giving out that information, even to the police, without a court order.  The caller kept trying to pressure me until he finally realized he wasn't getting anywhere.  After he hung up I looked up the phone number online and found conflicting information, including an individual at a landline in Bakersfield, CA.  (I am not giving out the person's name online, but I handed over the information to our security manager.)

I would have asked for his name and his badge number, and called that police department to see if he was actually the officer calling you.  In any case, you might want to make a report to them about this call.  It sounds like it might be a stalker of some sort.

A man called me from this number and he sounded very suspicious, trying to ask a question that leads to someone I know that has a bank account with me.  Sounds like this man was trying to scam.

No message left.  Soon as I  answered they hung up.

I got a call from this number and it is from one of the kern county office's however when the lady left a message she only stated her name didn"t ask for anyone by name. All she said I have inportant information to share with you but left a different number to call her back. Don't you think if it's something important they would leave a message by name for the interested part?

Someone from ‭+1 (661) 868-2146‬ called my cell & left no message. I do not know anyone I. Kern County Ca.

Recieved a call today from this number. Message was left in Spanish. I returned the call and got the same as everyone else who tried to return the call. No way to know who it was without actually taking the call.

I have a call from this number and I asked to hold because i have adelivery and he hung up.

Had a missed call from this number 1:10 AM this morning! Who calls at that hour and doesn't leave a message?
