66299

I received a message from 66299 and from account £4.50 deducted I want my money back or I want to stop this message..

My daughter entered a free New Look comp on facebook was asked to put her mobile number in  next thing she gets a message saying she has subscribed to Quizsmart and her phone will be charged £4.50  per week. When contacting network provider EE they stated her account had indeed been charged £4.50. Tried to contact Quizsmart but suprise suprise no one there to speak to a recorder message stated leave a message & contact number they would get back within 2 days NOT.  Was lucky only got charged £4.50 and sent price of text to send stop. Absolutely furious with this scammer.

These thieves have taken me for £13:50 so far. I've no idea who they are. I've never signed up to this site. As far as I'm concerned my mobile phone provider is complicit in this scam as they keep taking the money from my account & giving it to these scam artists.

This caller has so far stolen £80 from my Vodafone..despite I blocked the caller and sent a STOP message

I've received charges for calls from 66299 from a company called 'Playawin', which I had no idea I would be charged for...

Got the same number 66299 I tried texting STOP but it won't send

first, money wasn't "stolen" - someone with access to your phone has "clicked thru" T&Cs of this scumbag's website; second, what happened when you contacted PhonepayPlus as recommended several times earlier on this thread? You HAVE contacted the Regulator, haven't you?

Got an offer of winning a phone. To enter i had to give them my number then they sent me a code as i enterd code it came up and said i have now registard and they would be taking £4.50 a week and when i enterd the number 66299 to unregistar it came back and said message failed

Got text from quiztonic saying you pay 4 75 a week .Do not want this

I somehow got this and had 4 amounts of £3.75 added to my phone bill but was not aware of it until I got my bill and I text 'stop' to 66299 as previously mentioned on another post  - just 2 days ago so will see if this stops - is clever marketing so be aware

this website can't/won't STOP anything, it operates from the USA & has no authority but it is a useful Forum for people to exchange views, report problems and, sometimes, even offer solutions - as many have reported previous to your own comment. what DID you make of those, btw?

got charged £4.50 last month, got in contact with TESCO Mobile, who then refunded this money, requested thar TESCO Mobile put a stop to this, awaiting this month's bill to see that this has worked

How do I block this?

I have got this number on my bill and i havent got a clue what it is

I would also like a refund of 3 .86 back that i have payed on my phone bill please and to block this number
