GE Money handles several different credit accounts. Walmart, Pay Pal, just to name a few. If you don't have a JCP card, than obviously they aren't calling you for that, right?

I recently started getting calls like a couple of times a week from this number.  I've never answered because I don't know the number.  Now I know it's from JCPenney, yet I've never opened a credit card there. I only have one card and it's not even from a retail store.

I just told them too get f--ked and take my number off the list or I would get ahold of the attorney general and it stoped.

I received a call from GE Money bank. I want these calls to stop

I made the mistake of signing up for a J. C. Penny credit card, but I've never used it.  So why are they calling?  J. C. Penny has NOT sent me anything in the mail asking for a payment.  WTF?

call's every hour

I just called this number back.
They had a very rude auto operator.
Gave me very little time to find info. on why they called.
Then was transferred to a lady, no a person, who was more rude.
Very rude, ended call with "right", "sure", we'll see" sort of thing.
She kept her voice low, like she new it was recorded.
It wasn't clear so I asked her to repeat, where she would change the word.
Last word was "fine".
It's a JC Penney collection line.
No way to do buss.
I will complain and hope others do too.
She did not like her job.
My bill was not due for 2 more days.
She didn't even ask if it was already in the mail !

they call me too only i am in canada ive tried to pay off my jc penny but the website doesnt have a spot for me to put in Canada so it wont accept my payment, a never ending cycle lol

Leeches more like it. I have never had any business whatsoever with GE Money bank or any credit card under their control, heck I've only applied for one credit card in my entire life and it certainly was not through them, it was through my home bank. That was paid off and cancelled YEARS ago. Either way, GEMB comes on strong and calls me anywhere from 2x to 10x a day. I've tried the 'nice' approach, the 'diplomatic' approach and then the 'downright rude' approach and none stop them.

I am receiving the calls constantly. I called the number left on the message and they would not speak to me unless I gave them my account number and SS number which I would not do. They were rude and I hung up. I then called the number on the JC Penney website. They looked up my account, stated all was well with my payment and that they had no record of anyone at JCP or GE Money Services calling me. They said it was good that I did not give our my info. Its a scam.

678-518-3100  GE Money Bank calling for J C Penney.  GEMB regularly calls outside of business hours and calls at work even when told in writing not to.   If you're filing bankruptcy, let them know and then let your attorney know the times and dates of calls after that.  They can be fined for contempt of court by the bankruptcy judge if they make any calls to you after you file.    Until then,   the cell phone is your friend.  put call blocking to work for you.

Keep getting calls from this number and another JC Penny # starting with 330 area code.  I never have a JC Penny card and never want one.....................

this number called at least 20 times a day. My husband answered it and told them the person they are looking for does not have this number. The man or a@@hole that called said my husbnad was a liar and he will get his if he did not tell him where this certain person was!!!!! Now they call at least 20 times a day. i have called JCPenny which I have no credit with or anyone else for the matter and she told me it was not from them and they do not even have my cell phone in there records so this is a scam and they got phone numbers somehow.
