I recieved 3 e-mails from this firm on the 21st Jan and 3 on the 28th Jan at £1-50 each total of £9-00 to stop these calls text STOP to 80876 hope this helps

I've been charge on £1.50 up till total amount now is £78.11pounds. Pls any help need to stop this

I don't think this is simply the gadget show.  I have spotted this and on closer inspection and a wee bit digging around i think it is maybe for any text competition.  when i couldn't work it out, i noticed that the number i had text for a competion was only 25p but this number was just after at the same time, and charged £1.25.  i know the competition was £1.50 per text so it tallies up now.
so even if you've never entered a competition on the gadget show, its entirely possible that you have text entered for a different competition.

over 2 bills i have had two charges from them. i have notaent to any premium rate sites. eg. comps, games

I was trying to find out who was charging me. It was interesting that the charge came up on the same day I sent a txt to Absolute Radio on 81215. I've since heard that they charge $1.50 for txt's plus the carrier's fee. It seems that Virgin are charging me 10p for this as well and it's not coming out of my free txts. No wonder absolute Radio always say to txt them! Scumbags, both Virgin and Absolute Radio for taking the mickey.

I'd use the revolver.co.uk by money saving expert - complain to your service provider and if they don't refund and block, escalate it to Ombudsman service after eight weeks (it does this through the site, so you don't have to bother!)

BT MOBILE gave me a full refund!.

It's not YOUR responsibility, its your SERVICE PROVIDER. It costs them a fortune if it is investigated by the ombudsman, so they will ALWAYS pay up.

I've never watched the Gadget Show, I've entered the breakfast one for a holiday with £5,000 spending money! It's the only one apart from Free Radio n theirs comes up separately. Bet they've been taking money monthly too because I've had no way of checking my online bill.
