Didn't answer keep getting a call

They called me today. I screened it and they hung up before my answering machine outgoing message had completed.

if answer and they ask to speak to you, just say they have the wrong number. it worked for me, so it might work for you.

If you want them to stop calling you have to answer and tell them to take you off of their call list. If you asked to be put on their do not call list it will not work. You must tell them to REMOVE YOU from the list.

calls every day !!!!

They are calling my work number. I have no idea how they got it. Luckily (I suppose) they call in the evening so I am not here when they call. They have called twice this week. If they keep calling, I will try to get taken off their list.

I have been getting them now for weeks, I answer due to looking for a job, and some offices have corp. main offices in Las Vegas. No one is ever there, so I hang-up. (automated dialing, gotta love it!!) I have been awakened twice, and literally had my fork in my mouth another time. I AM on the DO NOT CALL list....and stayed with Hilton once in the last 2 years....now I am sorry. It WON'T happen again!! I did call to have my number removed, and spoke to a girl named 'Tiara'..hummm, but I am going to follow up with the FCC. I had to do this once before and it was VERY effective. The calls were coming from a home phone worker, 'who didn't have the ability to screen out DO NOT CALL lists. It stopped within 2 weeks, and was MUCH worse. You HAVE to file a complaint-it is what MAKES the system work, and make these operations compliant. Giving a bogus number when you register at a hotel does not always work if the number DOES NOT MATCH YOUR CREDIT CARD!!

I've been receiving calls from this number for several weeks and had not answered them. After looking up the number here yesterday and reading the info, I answered when they called today. It is indeed Hilton Hotels; I did stay with them recently. When I had a chance to enter the conversation by asking the nice young woman to stop talking, I told her to remove me from their calling list and she thanked me. We'll see if it works.
