FYI...this is a telemarketing firm that does business calls for Aspen Publishers or CCH.--both companies owned by Wolters Kluwers Org out of New York. Call them if  you don't like being called 800-234-1660
They don't leave voice mail or messages it's because most aren't allowed too.  My company has bought tax books from CCH for years so they are legit. If you ph# got put on one of their marketing lists by mistake then ask them to be added to Do NOt call list. Big deal. I have always had good relations with their reps so maybe of you get on phone being jerk right away - it comes right back at you.

Yes I bought 2 cases of gloves from them and now they are saying that I owe them $495.34 which I will not be paying I will be shipping what I have back.  So if they thought they got me no I got them.

Got a call regarding gloves asking if we want to 'reorder.'  Getting confused, I said yes, and they said it was "three ninety-nine" per box.  Assuming they meant BOX OF GLOVES FOR THREE DOLLARS AND NINENTY-NINE CENTS, I said yes.  Then someone called me a few days later and confirmed that it was 2 boxes.  I asked to just do one, so that we can see them first, and then as he was hanging up he stated that it was three-HUNDRED per case, not dollars per box.  Now I have two cases sitting here, not one, and am waiting for a bill or some type of contact information so that I can send this sh*t back to them.  DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!  The label on the box is from "Ampex Medical Supply" and the address is a UPS location in Simi Valley (not a real store front).  This is one of two websites I found "Ampex Medical Supply" and now am extremely frustrated.  NEVER AGAIN!!!

I'm not sure how they got my direct business line, but they have called me a on a couple of different occassions - neither call had a message left on my machine.

This is why I just ignore numbers and area codes that I am unfamiliar with.  Oh well... looks like I did not miss anything important.

You're full of crap - if you read this thread you'd see they are ignoring do not call requests, but even if they weren't, why does buying a book mean you should get interrupted with telemarketing calls where you have to call a different number to get them to stop?  That's not "legit."

I have a charge on my company credit card from an Ampex Medical Supply company in Simi Valley, California but I have no invoice, no supplies and I am unable to find Ampex Medical Supply.

I get several calls from this number weekly.  They never leave messages.  I am getting these calls on my work phone number.

Got a call asking who was in charge of finances. We said no one was available.

Hello Beverly, Ampex Medical Supply is a scam company.  Lead scammer/fraudster who runs the scam is Michael Emoreth Arnold.  His co scammer/fraudster is Michael Alan Dirksen.  They have been running medical glove scam since 2001. They use many different business names and have changed their business number over 30 times and have even relocated their office to stay a step ahead of the authorities.  Michael E Arnold has 2 office locations. 1 in California where Arnold was running that office for several years then moved to Katy Texas June 2012 to evade authorities. He has another office in Houston, Texas.  The office in California is operating under the direction of Arnold by his assistant. Arnold and Dirksen never reveal their real names. They only use alias names. They only use PO BOX addresses at UPS STORES in California, Houston and Katy Texas. Their current address is 10333 Harwin Dr Suite 170 Houston TX 77036

Typical...You must be one of the scammers trying to throw off the public by saying it's Aspen Publishers or CCH company as they have done the same thing in other public forums that expose scammers and fraudsters. Scammers aka CRIMINALS are notorious for constantly changing their phone number and relocating their office, yet always using a PO BOX as their address @ UPS Stores to keep themselves hidden from who they really are...hmmm again, typical of a criminal.

They called my accounting dept. and yelled at my clerk DEMAMDING payment. I called back right away to find out who these clowns are and why they are demanding our money. I have never heard of Rivera Medical Company. The person who answered the phone said his name is Mike Adams. I did my research on these criminals and found a shitload of complaints on them so I know our business wasn't the only one targeted to be scammed by these fraudsters. There are businesses out there like ours - those who have fallen victim to their scams and those who did a little research and found out they are nothing but a scam. After speaking to a few other businesses about these scammers and their scams, I found out the scammers have called from all of the following phone numbers...keep in mind, some of the numbers are already disconnected because that is what scammers/fraudsters/scoundrels AKA CRIMINALS (pun intended) do to keep their scam business up an running: 877-490-4714, 888-857-3945, 877-591-3777, 888-428-8567, 877-818-713-8130, 713-334-2166, 713-334-2685, 888-999-8826, 888-238-9290, 281-238-9290, 888-844-9290, 714-568-0111, 888-841-3313, 713-334-2166, (Fax) 888-238-9290. All these phone numbers are or were registered under several business names, (same scammers) and a few of those business names are based in either Houston Texas, and several cities in California (Simi Valley, Thousand Oaks, Thousand Oaks, Los Angeles, Bakersfield, Chatsworth, Orange) Also found out Michael Emoreth Arnold recently moved from Simi Valley California to, Katy Texas which is only minutes from Houston Texas.

If it wasnt for public forums like these, for the public to post comments about evil puppets like, Michael Emoreth Arnold and Michael Alan Dirksen who lust after greed and money, ripping off innocent people and scamming them out of their hard earned money with their business names such as; Falcon International Industries, IHTA inc, DMZ inc, Rivera Medical Company, Ampex Medical Company/Suppy, Advanced Medical Co, Allied Medical Co/Supplies, Superior Medical Co, Alpha Medical Co, Corbin Supply, and many others then we would have fallen victim to their scams like many other business have, unfornately. Your tactic in calling our department and lying in saying our shipping clerk placed an order with your company, then changing your lie and saying we must have placed an order with you online through your website is very deceptive and you thought you would get away with it. Think again! We aren't paying you you a cent! Stop calling and harassing us, threatening and cussing out our employees to pay you for a bogus invoice! We NEVER called you! We NEVER placed any orders with you, previously, currently and won't ever do so in the future - so you can pick up all 100 cases of your used up junk "so called medical gloves" which you shipped to us fraudulently.
