I received a call from this number two times within 5 minutes. I am registered under the DNC list. Anyway it was from some movie rating company. I asked them to remove my name from their list. If they call back, I will report them. I am so sick of being a prisoner to my damn phone! I get at least 10 calls like this a day and one or two from someone I actually know (i.e. friends or family). I'm sick of it!! I have to turn my phone off just to get some relief. What kind of BS is that?!?!??!

When they call, they don't speak English. Who are these idiots and why do they keep bothering us?

I keep getting calls from this # too 714-463-2940.  I don't pick up and they never leave a message.  It is from Yorba Linda, CA.  I did just start filling out Nielsen Ratings and I think it's probably related to that.

Call came in and there was no one on the other end...This is harassment.

it showed up as A7144632940 on caller id. annoying something about hollywood survey movies. i screamed at them in gibberish and they hung up.

These people called at 7:45PM on PALM SUNDAY!  Who do they think they are infringing on Sacred Family Time??  A FOREIGN-ACCENTED Man told me they were "Conducting Research this evening".  I hung up on him without comment, but I was furious.  ALL my phone numbers have been submitted to the DO NOT CALL registry; WHY ISNT OUR GOVERNMENT ENFORCING OUR PRIVACY AND WISHES TO BE LEFT ALONE????  Thank you GEORGE BUSH, DICK CHENEY AND ARNOLD SCHWARTZENEGGER (714 is a CALIFORNIA area code) and all the other CORRUPT REPUBLICANS for allowing/encouraging our rights to be denigrated, trampled.  Call your Congresspeople and INSIST that this BULLSH*T be STOPPED!!!

Had six calls from this number to my "ring all". The first five came with the country code missing - appearing to be Russian! The most recent had the 1 in. Blacklisted it now but why on earth they are calling such a little known number in London, only they, whoever they are, can say. The number, like all of my numbers, is on the TPS (DNC).

The more complaints about this company, the more visibility and action is probable.  I am tired of receiving phone calls from these strange marketers.

For unsolicited calls, you or your machine should answer, they have to pay for completed call.  Keep them talking as long as possible, give incorrect info.  Make them pay for your aggravation.

received a Easter suday call @ 1:30 PM (during our Easter meal) stating she was only doing her job, whatever that was, would not answer any??-  what ever happened to call-blocking-

This call was from someone who wanted a survey on fast food restaurants.

This is how you can harass them back:

call their toll-free number from a payphone booth. Every time they pick up, they have to reimburse the payphone company $0.50 or more.

It's really gratifying knowing that they have to pay to listen to your complaints.

I answered the call which showed up as A714-463-2940.  They started rattling off something in spanish.  I told them I don't speak spanish and they wanted someone in the household who did speak spanish.  Just because I live in New Mexico doesn't mean that we all bilingual.  They were somewhat offended that there was no spanish speakers here.

They keep calling. Don't leave a message. The caller is listed as A7144632940, the same as the phone number that is calling.  Very annoying.

I got a call from this number at 8:21 p.m. on Saturday night. I answered & whoever it was immediately hung up on me.

caller id stated the name as Linda Yorba from CA.

This number is calling several times per day. No one talks when I answer so I  have started letting it go into my voice mail. They never leave a message. Instead I get the hang up this phone and try this number again message on my voicemail. I have run out of blocks on my phone blocker as ATT only allows 10 blocked calls which is also crap.

Five calls in 15 minutes. No one picks up.

Calling my home at 10:30 at night!!!!
