You have had your information sold. Its a canadian number, they phoned me and i searched the hell out it. Spam! Go to your phone provider and get them to put a block on. And turn the security on, on your watsapp if you have if. This is how the got my info.

This is a legitimate company. They provide two-factor authentication when someone tries to log into an account. If you get one you didn't expect,  either someone typed in your phone number to their account by mistake, or else someone is trying to log into one of your accounts and got PAST the point where they were asked for a password. Change all your passwords, and do it from a secure computer that doesn't have malware on it. Logging in a computer using Linux (eg, Ubuntu) is safest. You can download a copy of a LInux build and using it to launch your computer instead of launching from the hard disc.

The phone call is from Airbnb. It is an automated call to let you know your pin to verify your account. If you didn't make an account it's probably that someone entered your number by accident when they were registered. Hope this helps.

If you, or someone else is trying to access your mail account with Microsoft, and you/ the person is calling from a new/foreign IP-address, Microsoft will tell you/the person fx. to name your last 4 digits of your phone number - Microsoft will then send you a code that you will have to write in order to get access to your mail account.

Let's say you are in a different country and wanna access your mail account. Microsoft registers that's it's not your usual IP-address your accessing your account from, and will make a security check, like above mentioned in order to prevail someone hacking your mail account.

Use strong codes/long codes, and when surfing the net either from home or a public hotspot, use a VPN. This will secure your line, and no-one will be able to snoop around, that is on your phone, tablet, pc. A VPN makes a highly encrypted line - so now one will know what are surfing for on the net - same goes for your Internet Supplier. Stay  safe.
