I am sure this number is a collection agency, they left a message for a so called relative, who is not related to us?

We continue to get calls from this number and on Oct 24 I called the number back and asked as to why they called our residence. They said it concerned someone I never heard and don't know. The person promised he would remove our phone number from their list. Apparently that never happened. What can be done?

Got a call from a guy who asked if I knew a Robert Laydig from WV.  He said it had to do with a bank account the guy had.  I told him I didn't know the guy and hung up.

716-250-4800 is Redline Recovery Services, this is a collection agency out of Getzville, New York. 2350 N Forest Rd. DO NOT answer the phone - these people are RUDE and OBNOXIOUS! Better to contact the debtor directly.

just got a call from redline, saying i was a contact for this person, said i never heard of him, which i haven't.  they hung up, I went online found this, and i am so glad i did, i am looking forward to them calling me again. thankyou all so much. they are in for a big surprise,

This number keeps calling me everyday. It first started in the afternoon and now in the mornings. When I answer they hang up.

I want these people to stop calling me!!!

Over the last few months I've received numerous calls from this company (Redline Reovery) asking for someone named "Debra".  My name is not Debra, Nor do I know anyone by that name.  The people I've talked to have been consistently rude and obnoxious.  They've promised several times that my phone number would be removed from the account.  On a couple of occasions when I've protested that my home number is still being called, they had the nerve to demand my cell number!  This morning, I received yet another call from them and the rude woman yelled at me when I protested that I did not know "Debra" and I wanted my phone number removed from their list.  So, I called my local District Attorney's office and they advised me to file complaints with the Attorney General's office in my state, the FTC (Federal Trade Commission), my State Consumer Affair's office and the Better Business Bureau.  I spent this morning making calls and filling out complaint forms online.  I would advise everyone to do the same.  File complaints against this company.  I realize they are trying to collect debts, but from what the fellow at the Attorney General's office told me, they are doing it illegally.

Keep getting calls from this number.  No one there when I pick up, but my caller ID says "Redline Recover".  Hope someone can stop them.

There is only one way to deal with motherf*ckers who play this game: play it right back at them. Use different voices. Deny you are who they are looking for. If they persist, tell them that the person they are looking for has died, or relocated, or is missing in the Amazon. Better yet, tell them that they became an astronaut and are currently on the space station - and just as soon as they get back they will be happy to call them back.

If they keep calling, go to a store and purchase a large dog whistle - or, if you can, an air horn. Wait for their call. Get on, act like you are the person they are looking for. Then, hold the whistle/air horn up to the phone and BLOW.

Repeat as often as possible. Perhaps if we can make enough people in this sc*mbag industry go deaf, the better off all of us will be.

Try all of this - you will not only get these creepos confused and upset trying to find who they are looking for, or you will deafen them, but you will also get a few laughs at how much you have ruined their day and improved your own. It works - take my word for it.

Just got a call from this company from a jerk who called himself Tim Marshall. Same as above: rude and unprofressional. Tried to intimidate me into paying something right then. Half as someone else said above. I'm going to do somemore research on these guys.

Ditto!  Same as all the above.  Call them back with an air-horn handy and blow out an eardrum or two and they will quit calling.  The horn also messes up the phones if it's loud enough.

call the number back ask to talk to a supervisor then have your number removed through them,

tyhis is probably the automated machine calling. if you return the call they now remove numbers immediatley when fnd to not be correct

Stop calling my cell phone. It is for Emergency calls ONLY! I don't have any outstanding bills and I don't need to be harassed, I'm ill and can't jump up to get a hang up call
