These criminals don't give up! Received several calls from this so-called PRG collection agency the past week. They are nothing but criminals trying to extort money from you, as previous posts have indicated. I know it's tough, but don't give in! Do report them to your state attorney general's office, but remember, they don't really care about that because they're criminals, and some putz or two of three will fall for their threat scam and give them money eventually.

I KEEP GETTING MESSAGES AND CALLS FROM THIS SAME OUTFIT. CALL BACK NO ANSWER AND, WHAT'S EVEN MORE INTERESTING, WHEN THEIR ANSWERING SYSTEM PICKS UP THERE IS NO COMPANY NAME WHATSOEVER. IT JUST SAYS TO LEAVE A MESAGE. I REALLY DON'T THINK A LEGAL OFFICE WOULD DO THIS.

Have not read all of the posts but can see my story in those I've scanned.  Their calls are to me in Oklahoma looking for my daughter who has just moved home from California.  When I asked this morning who he was calling on behalf of he said City of El Cajon.  She lived there more than 4 years ago but never had dealings with the City . . .

Received three calls from a Bobby Freeman saying she was from PRG Fraud division and that she needed me verbal statement all charges was being filed against me if I didnt contact them back said I could get ahold of her at 877-816-0564 ext 335 she also calls from a 1-716-335-9947 yes very rude

These people from the same numbers keep calling me as well. They called today 3times in a row and finally left a voicemail. It was a man named Robert Allen stating that I had 24 hours to call him back and that there's a civil complaint against me. After reading all these stories I'm debating if I should even call back. I'll be answerin next time they call and if they are rude and demanding to me I'll be rude right back. They clearly need to be stopped. Stories are from 2012 it's now 2014!

These people are so rude and mean. .threatened me for payback of a charged off account.  Threatening me with jail time and coming to my job to arrest me. I've had 3 claims for identity theft and am still fighting the effects of that.

They are scammers. Do not trust them I have a video on youtube of her conversation with me with information on confirming they are a scam. They are also on the BBB as an F with a warning link on the page as well.

I've received these call for over 2 weeks.  Decided to look the number up.  Thanks for the info.

Christopher Blatshire called from 716-355-9572 stating the he was from PRG Fraud department and that my attorney could call regarding a bounced check and the case number associated with it was 469018.  The attorney was to call 866-460-7833 and ask for extension 314.  What BS.

I got the same call but from different number area code (972), the say calling from PRG & Associates regarding to several claims against me. I don't even know what're they talking about, even talking about if "you're represented by a Lawyer and a case number."   But what really concerns me is that they haven been leaving messages on my cell phone (not idea how they got it) and asked me to call back, and provide my Social Security Number what? I am blocking those people, they are out to stole info and scam any naïve who fall for it.
