DO NOT continue any further discussions with them. DO NOT send any more money. They are using illegal aggressive bullying tactics.

IF it was / is a legitimate company they would be communicating with written letters through the U.S Postal Service.

Call your phone company and have them block their phone number.

If this were a legitimate call and/or company they would leave a message. I receive several calls a day from this number without a message for a return call back or any information. When a message was left(in the beginning) over a year ago this company would not give me debt information to verify and I do not receive any verification in the mail even upon my request. Legitimate companies and business' would provide documented proof of debt(company, debt balance etc). I am looking into suing this company for every call that comes into my cell phone per consumer laws. Do NOT call me any more. mail me debt verifcation. The only reason I know who is calling is by doing an internet search of the incoming phone number to find numerous other people in the same situation.

Just called me three times in a row. Left a message after the third call. They are looking for a relative of mine. My phone listing and city have no relation to my relative. I guess they harass family members. I've gotten this sort of crap before.

This is a cebt collector who often falslely claim that they are with law enforcement.  US Marshalls Office or a local "Private Investigator" to intimidate and harass the individuals they are trying to collect from.  I have referred this number to our local Sheriff's Consumer Fraud Hot Line.

    Kick it out of here!!
I just started getting calls from this number the last few weeks.  They never leave a msg, The one time I answered they only knew my first name and I said it wasn't, they became very demanding that I was and said to call such and such number back.  Tried to demand that I repeat the call back number back to them.. I said I didn't write it down as I'm not that person again demanded that I write it down.  I said again I'm not who they want, the man became very abusive calling me stupid.  I said I will not call a number that I have nothing to do with and hung up.  Well they are still calling and not leaving a msg.  If I owe someone, they could send the bill to my home.  I haven't moved in over ten years and I'm not doing anything thru the phone!

    Fed up in VA!!
I got this call, & when I picked up & said "hello", nothing but dead air for 15 seconds, then I hung up. If it is a collector, I do owe a bill, & am already working through a law firm to pay it off, so my advice to the caller  is to SHOVE IT UP WHERE THE SUN DON'T SHINE, if you don't have the decency to answer the call when you do get a connection!!

For the Seniors! replies to JAWSTOGO
In some States, maybe all, don't pay anything--not even $5.oo and it's a wash.  Bottom line is: let them take you to court and have the court system put you on a payment plan with BOA.  This collections agency is a scam.  You have done your part. Ignore them and let them come forward.  They are not allowed to harass and scare you.  Contact the FTC if they keep harassing you.  Keep records and bottom line ignore the these people.  It sickens me how these people trick the elderly! If you have kids (adult) let them take care of things and enjoy your senior years!  Also, no one, no bank is allowed to take monies out of your account without written permission!  Change banks and get a lawyer.  Get others involved to help you.  Maybe church members.  Unfortunately, no one can be trusting about anything these days.  If you don't know them, ignore them.

Keep calling my business. Yesterday they called my mother's house. Don't know who they are or how they got her number. They say they are a colletion agency, but don't say for who. They leave a file number, but are very hard to understand. Never received a letter from them.

    My Father's Keeper

So, I too received a call from 716-564-4905 this a.m.. The man on the other end was asking for my Dad. I told him Dad has Alzheimer's, dementia, & is most times delusional. I told them that I am not only his caretaker but have power of attorney and therefore I am the one that this man should be talking to. Then this idiot asks "can your father come to the phone to give a verbal ok...then I can talk to you". So I ask him, "are you telling me that you can get a verbal ok over the phone from a person who has my Dad's conditions?" He didn't answer my question but went on to ask if I got a letter from them? Again, I had to ask " Who are you...what company?". He really didn't want to give me that info but finally said he was from First Source Advantage. I asked "well, what KIND of company is this?" And he said "because of the laws, I can't tell you". OMG!!!!! I ended-up telling this guy to go ahead and send another letter to us and we'll take it from there.

Sounds VERY similar to what many people here are saying. One thing I noticed that is different, is we live in S.W. Florida. I don't recall any one who lives in the South complaining. Maybe this "company" has over-stayed in the North or even California and is now targeting another part of our country?!!?
