Just recieved a call from 1-866-372-4233. Was a woman asking to speak to the owner (whom she mentioned by name) when I told her he was unavailable she said she was from Biz Advertising and that he had authorized a web advertisement two years ago and it was about to expire in NOvember and she wanted to get in touch with him prior to it expiring to have him verify that he did not want to renew it and place him on the do not call list as well as settle up on the outstanding balance for the 2 year advertisement. When I questioned her further she gave me the website where the business was supposedly being advertised (couldn't find our supposed ad). Told her he was out of town and she wanted to know if anyone else was authorized to be recorded to confirm we would not renew. When I questioned her more, she became a bit hostile and defensive. I told her we had no outstanding advertising debts, I've never recieved any statements from them and if they think they are going to renew the ad or bill us she had better think again and cancel whatever she needed to. I also told her that she needed to provide some actual proof that we signed up for any advertising with them I also told her that I was checking the internet as I spoke to her and told her whatever little scam she was trying to pull would not work. She said since I wasn't the owner (I didn't tell her that I am in fact part owner of the business) that she could not discuss this with me and would call again to speak to him and that her records will reflect that I was unco-operative and if the ad was renewed and we were billed it would be my own fault. I told her that if she was recording me now I've already told her to send me verification and that good luck calling back as the other owner will not be here before Nov.

update, just googled the number - while the rep said she was with Biz Advertising (and bizadvertising.com) the number that came up on my caller ID was for a company called '411 Info Pages'.  If you google it you will also get a link where they are looking for sales reps.

You screw it up lisa. You shouldn't have informed them that you know they are looking for ales reps. I also saw the post at craiglist.

I have been receiving calls 2-3 times a day from this number and there is never anyone there.  I tryed calling back and was told the number is no longer in service.  So much for called ID

So since I am on vacation in Montreal, I decided to go to their office. I went to the address:

I walk up stairs, and tried to apply for a job. I was quite easy. There was no "secret" room or so. I told they lady that I was only interested in night shift. She said she did have that. I did however notice a camera in the secretary's office.

as I was leaving the office I saw a you a  man outside smocking a cigarette. I asked him if he works here . he said yes. I asked him if he was in the sales departement. he said no, that he did collections ( so theey do both). I said it's kind of a shaddy business, I asked him if he's ever google Blueyellowbook.com. He told that he's not he's stupid got a familly to feed. He told me he's been there for a month.

Well there you have it. I found the call center after all these years and a quote from one of their sales people.

Received a phone call from "Yellow Blue Media" online yellow pages. They wanted to verify my address info and fraudulently bill me for the past 12 months of listing. The caller id said 716-566-9598 and it said "Bank of America".

I actually remember receiving this call before and getting into a heated argument with the person who was basically trying to rob me ($600 last time). This time I told the person that I absolutely have no relationship with them and do not owe them anything and will not pay them anything.

They keep calling and never leave a message..!!
I called back and got a message: phone number disconnected

This same number 716-566-9598 is also listed as "Bank of America." They've been calling here and I usually do not answer but, today I did. It was a foreigner asking for my husband. Asked if she wanted to lend us money since it was BOA and she said no. Told her we don't owe anything to them, what did she want my husband for. She said I can't answer the phone like that b/c it's a business. Told her I can answer my phone anyway I want to and hung up on her. Seh called right back and said "jealous" in a really sarcastic voice. Tried calling the number back and got a recorded msg saying the number is dc.

I recieved calls from 716-566-9598 was asked my name then hung up on. I did reverse look up and the number is unlisted, when I tried to call back it states it's disconnected. I will blocking this number from my phone. I did find that there is a gadget you can buy that will give incoming calls this message. Scam artists.

What the hell?  They have called our business like 10 times in the last hour.  They keep saying my name wrong and then hanging up!

This # called and asked for me by name. When you call back it says number disconnected? caller id. showed bank of america 716-566-9598

Why can the local phone company for area code 716 not give out the number and let the right people find this jerk and drag him down the street by his hammer? Enough said!!

This number is from a bogus company without any listing.  The telephone company should be able to trace this caller and disconnect their service.  Anyone receiving a call from  this number should disregard it and report is here.

We have been receiving calls from this number for weeks now.  Everytime I answer they hang up.  When I try calling back, it's disconnected.

I'm glad I found this website!  Although I'm elated to see that it's not just our business having this problem, it's unfortunate that we all must endure this harassment!  After numerous calls from this number over the last few weeks (there was silence on the other end when we answered), I answered this morning and a woman actually spoke.  She asked for my husband by name, and I asked her what the call was in regard to.  She said something about an internet "blue yellow pages" or blue yellow book" or something to that effect.  I asked her what company she was with, and she said it was online business to business advertising .  I told her we did not have any type of online advertising... and she promptly hung up on me!  I'd like to hunt her down and rip her tongue out.  The caller ID said "Bank of America".

This guy keeps calling from 7165669598 and saying that my company owes $700 for online advertisement, we don't advertise online and when I told him that he snapped at me and asked me why he was calling then?? After that I hung up and google the number.

I've getting for calls for about two or weeks calls from this number about once or twice a day never ever any respond...

Our company gets these phone calls at the very least 5 times a week when we tell them we are not interested, they are quite rude... This scam has been going on for years isn't there something we can do to stop these calls?
