I got the saame message with just a phone number and a guy named Joe asking me to call.  When I called back he explained that they needed to confirm my indentity before they released any information.  he said they don't want to give out my personal information to someone else.  It seemed a odd at first but once I realized they were protecting my privacy, it made a little more sense.  I'm not working and he said they would hold my account until I found a job.

The common notion of people is that junk collectors look dirty and stinky because of their job, but, you must always make it to the point that all necessary stuffs are well maintained and clean to catch the attention and trust of you costumers. I ran the phone number that called my cell and found this site, was just curious about who was calling me to see if it was a telemarketer since I'm on the 'do not call' list.  What baffles me is the number of people on this site whining and complaining about someone leaving a message for them or calling their phone.  There's even one guy who threatens call the company a hundred times a day because they called him.  My advice would be to get over it.  If it's a creditor calling you, pay your bills.  If it's a telemarketer, get on the 'do not call' list.  This appears to be an informational forum, not a website to vent your frustrations over someone ringing your phone.

Just got a call from Albert, hung up on his ass when he wouldn't answer any questions about where he was calling from. It's people like that who don't have any decency and gave the audacity to demand respect! Whether I owe the bill or not, you'd better act right when you call my phone!

Received a phone call and was told I was a dead beat because I would not give my information out on the phone. Then caller, called me back and just breathed long breaths in the phone. How is that professional? How is that not creepy?

This company is the most unprofessional rude company I have ever dealt with.  My wife contacted the company to settle a billing issue and spoke to Mike Sims (apparently the call center manager) and was not permitted to speak let alone have anything resolved.  

A billing account that we had already made partial payment on (almost half of the bill had been paid already) had shifted to this companies records, and we were not aware of the transition since my wife and I had recently purchased a house and the company did not have the proper address to notify us they hadn't received our final payment.

When we contacted them (initially just my wife called) she was transferred to Mike Sims to discuss the bill, he started out normal enough requesting a payment be made, etc.  But when my wife answered his question about why we weren't able to make the payment he wouldn't even allow her to respond, claiming that all that was irrelevant and that she was a deadbeat debtor.  I was brought onto the call since my wife could no longer handle his obscene and childish behavior, and was met with the same attitude.  

Mike sims and Accumed billing are utterly pathetic as an organization.  I cannot believe that anyone would allow their reputation to be decimated, by using a company like Accumed to represent them in bill collection.  There have been many companies that I have dealt with in my life that handle phone customer service and this is by far the basest example of a company that has no clue how to operate their business.

When I asked for Mike’s supervisor his only reply was:
"This is as far as a lowly debtor goes, I am the manager."

Needless to say I have already contacted the owner of the company and filed a complaint with the BBB using the link provided above, and I invite you to do the same.

So got this call man asks for me but I dont tell him its me I just ask who calling and he like James so I say James who and he says James somebody and I ask why you calling and he said its a private matter and I say what pirvate matter and he all like its a private matter for the guy he calling and I say if its so private then why you calling but I dont never tell him that he talking to the dude he lookin for how cold is that dude dont even know he talkng to me what a dam fool

I am so glad a googled this number.  My 12 year old son has been getting calls for months from these people on his cell phone.  They keep asking for someone we don't know.  When we tell them that there is no one at this number by that name, they refuse to listen.  They won't give you any information or even tell you why they are calling.  My son is very upset because they have used foul language with him on the phone and he doesn't know what to do.  I'm not sure where we will go from here but my husband and I are extremely upset that they would talk to a  year old this way.  This won't be the end of it I can assure you.

I don't care if I owe someone money, I ain't paying you a dime.  Get over it.  You should have gotten your money up front.  Deal with it.  Mo' money in my pocket.  Go suck an egg.  Eggs benedict, yo.

I got a call from a Craig James to my WORK number

I would like to know how they get away with it with all of these complaints. They actually threatened me. My bill was pd. and they said I was lying. I told them I would handle with the Drs office and they said I couldn't so I told them that even if I did owe them more money they would not get a dime from me.  The Dr.'s office is about to find out how these people are treating there patients.  And go figure this is a cardiologists , so 9 chances out of ten the person they are upsetting has a heart condition.  Real smart people.  A lawsuit waiting to happen.  OOOOPPSSS I just had a pain when they called. LOL

Yo some b*tch called me last week geting up in my busenss aboute paying some bill or some sh*t like that and I basicly told that b*tch to get a real job I aint worked in 2 years I hurt my foot cant work.

got 5 calls in one day from this "unknown number", i work overnights so was disturbed when this Mike Sims guy hung up when i finally did get to the phone, i owe 20.00 dollars...yes just 20 for my copay to my dr whom i have spoken to and am going to pay in 2 weeks as i now am working , i had no income during school and now finally school is over..this guy is horrid literally 5 times in just one day.. this is serious harassment...he only gave a name on the 4th call...he used the 717702205 and another #....i finally could check him out after several weeks of this thanks to him finally giving his name...otherwise i still would not know who or what he was..he is with peerless credit...very unprofessional...am leaving phone off hook to sleep for work...i would block if i knew how...i need to be able to hear from my family without being harassed by this company.

All that showed up on caller ID was "P".  I answered the phone and spoke with Mike Sims.  I will admit he was rude, but I gave it right back to him.  Nothing to call the Attorney General about.  After the "argument on the phone", I have called the office back (twice now).  Both times I asked for Mike and was sent right to him and he has been polite.

I bet anytime he is rude its after a long day of being lied to, cried to, and argued with.  Wouldn't you?

I was having a very good day. Enjoying Christmas shopping with my family when I get a Call from a man who says his name is Mike. He refuses to tell me who he is with but that he is calling to collect a debt that I owe. I ask who it is for and he tells me. I then Nicely explain to him that this bill should have been paid for and that I was going to make some calls and I would get back to him with in 24 hours. I also explained that I would be sure to get this bill taken care of and I thanked him for notifying me. He then said that I needed to send him a check for $263 or he could take a card over the phone. So again I asked who he was with and he replied "I'm the good guy thats trying to keep free loaders like you honest." I then asked to speak to his boss and he said "No! Your speaking to me now. Deal with me." So I hung up.
He called right back this time far more rude than he had been and said that since I hung up on him he was going to put this on my credit report for the next 7 years and then contact an attorney to have charges brought against me. He also said that he was making a note that I was unwilling to pay or set up a payment plan and that I was very rude to HIM. Also that I slammed the phone down and he would notify the doctor not to see me any longer. He then said that he was going to make my life hell for the next few years. He then went on to say "Sir, have you ever had a grown up conversation before? If you had than you would know how to treat the people that can control your life and your credit. Your credit is a sign of your place and your roll in the community you live. You are the scum that fills our welfare system. I suggest that you grow up and pay your bills, and maybe one day you can have some what good credit." He then hung up.

Ok... First... My credit is great! I pay everything on time. Second... After calling my insurance company they saw that THEY had made a mistake and assured me that it would be paid with in 72 hours. Thirdly... He dares to question MY place in MY community... I live next door to the Chief of police. I am on a first name bases with the mayor as my office is two doors down from his. So my place is pretty good. Fourthly... NOBODY deserves to be talked to like that for ANY reason. I am filling reports and using the full authority of my office to bring the pain down on this man as he has done to so many others.      

Also, when I called back to notify them that it was being taken care of and that my insurance company is working on it now and payment should be received in 72 hours and that I would be in contact. He then said that they had been sending me letters. I asked the dates. He could only give me the months. I noticed that these were the months that I was over seas with my reserve unit. So I explaind to him that that must had been the reason I didn't get back to him since I had just gotten back about a month ago. He then replied "Oh great. Great sir. So your going to play that card. I guess you are gods gift and shouldn't have to pay your bills because instead of getting a real job you ran off to kill people. Thats just great. Don't call again until you are willing to pay your bill or I will call the cops on you and press charges." Yeah... So Mike Sims is going to get a call from MY office tomorrow.
