Called and never left a message

These  people have called my number about 3 times a week and if I ask them to stop they hang up on me before I can finish. this has been going on for months and I would like to get my hands on one of them in front of the rest of them. I have complained on these sights to no avail also,

call us at least 2 or 3 times a day; answered 1 call 2 days ago & it was a recorded female voice insisting I must call her about my credit card for something about interest rate going up.
This # seems to be one used by multiple/various scammers. Sometimes just says "good bye."
99% of the time we do not answer unknown calls.

Scams...what to do...

Missed the call and don't know who this is.

Incoming call on my cell phone from this number today.  No name on the caller-ID, just the number (718-475-9208).  Let it go to voice-mail.  They left an (automated) voice-mail.  The same message I get dozens a time each month from a variety of different caller-ID's about "... lowering your interest rate ...".  The even use the same recorded out-going message with the same voice actor/actress (probably recorded years ago, maybe even lifted from some legitimate company years ago).

Don't bother your local law enforcement, they don't and can't investigate these. Yeah it's a federal law, only there's no punishment in the statute for violations, all they get is a letter, if they're in the U.S.

just called me. i did not answer the call

American pre-recorded message about student loan consolidation "press 1 to talk to an agent" - press 1 and you get an indian asking if you pressed 1. I played 3-2-1-2-3-3-3 over and over until she hung up.

do not waste your police depts time. block the number or dont answer. Come on people this is not rocket science

Pressed 1, i was caller #43, which went down rather quickly.  The live person said "cardholder services.  I "played" & said "oklahoma police dept., how may i help you".  He then reported a fire.  When i asked for the location of the fire, he again said "a fire going on"..........The the "wimp" got scared & hung up.   Isn't it illegal to falsely report a fire.......From number 718 475-9208.........Verizon & police dept. Should investigate this one............ When these "ace wholes" call, just play with their heads & waste their time.  Told one i was right outside their house, which ended that numbers thread of repeated calls

"Bridget " calls several times a day!!.We've used up all of the BLOCKS on other scammers.
How can I make a formal complaint ?

Some pre recorded scam/ student loan crap

While I did not answer this call, I have also received calls on both my cell and land line phones from "Bridget from Cardholder Services." Call ID on my land line has displayed different locations so it seems they switch around to make it hard to catch them. Anyhow, I don't have credit card debt so they have no reason to call. I'm on the "Do Not Call" registry with my land line numbers (have 2), but that does not stop them. TYje phone companies must take action to stop these folks!

this number just called me 4 times in a row, it only rang a fraction of a second before it disconnected and immediately called me again. Now blocked.

Been calling once a day every day since Nov. Had to turn off answering machine always leave mesg so have turned off answering machine sometimes says private call. Have list of numbers for as requested by local police.

gonna lower my credit card interest if I gave them my number, told them I'd do the same for them, if they gave me their number first..they hung up
