A class action against verizon would put an end to this.  Verizon can stop this !!! !!!harassment but would lose money they are making from scammers using phone system.

Another call from these scumbags.  Today the caller ID showed "Consumer Advocates." Three days ago the same number was ID'd as "People's Assistance." Either way, it's the credit card interest rate scam. They never leave a message, just hang up after  3 rings. STOP CALLING!!!

KT, I tried our local police department because I've gotten literally hundreds of these calls just since Jan. 1. I was told that there was nothing the police could do unless I had a name of the person calling, the company name, and its location!! Fat chance of doing that. Even using the "block" option on my phone doesn't help…..it blocks only FIFTY numbers, and it's full. Apparently we're just supposed to endure these crappy calls from lowlifes like "Rachel from Card Services." Ridiculous.

This is card services.  When they start calling again I push 1 and then wait for someone to come on the line.  THEN I blow a police whistle in the speaker as hard as possible.  They hang up.

Do what I do.  Get a metal police whistle and then when they call, push 1 and wait for someone to come on the line.  Then blow that whistle as hard as you can in the speaker.  They hang up and you got to have a little fun.  Card Services is a SCAM

SCAMMERS! I'm fed up with crooks who steal the identities and finances of decent American Senior Citizens living on fixed incomes. Follow these directions to the letter. Press 1 and wait your turn to speak with the next available SCAMMER. Don't disclose any information including verifying your name as they can see the name of who they dialed even if your number is blocked. Spend as much time on the line as possible asking them to repeat and explain everything they say. You then repeat what they said back to them and tell them you don't fully understand. Keep them on the line until they finally yell "Uncle." If everyone takes the time to do this our government psychology consultants advise that they will quickly become disillusioned and look for another way to earn a living.

Credit Card services as usual I didn't pick up sadly ATT doesn't allow us to block numbers on home phone's. i am so sick of her calls
